Used to be my favorite place. Our food was delivered today and it was all cold. I cannot blame this on the delivery driver because we live right down the street and the cheese to our quesadillas wasn’t even melted. My husbands burrito was ice cold. Missing sauces, food made incorrectly. Barely any chips in the bag and on top of it they tasted stale. FOUND A LONG BLACK HAIR IN ONE OF THE QUESADILLAS. Called and spoke to a woman whom said she was a manager who was extremely rude and unprofessional and argued with me after everything I said. She said they were closed and would remake everything the next time we come in. I asked to please also have Shaun one of the managers call me and she says to hang on she will take my number. She then she changes what she says and says that the only thing they did wrong was forgot one of the sauces completely disregarding everything I just told her. She says we can now wait for Shaun to reach out and she will not be having the food remade until I talk to him because they did nothing wrong besides forget a sauce. I told her she is now switching what she said. I told her chips were stale, she told me no they’re not, they were made today. Told her food was cold and obviously rushed, she told me it was not rushed and made correctly. Told her missing sauces she told me no they’re all there because she did it herself. Every single thing I told her was wrong she argued. My sister attempted to eat her quesadilla and found the huge hair in her first bite and I didn’t even get to attempt to mention this to her because she was arguing and talking over me. I told her she had horrible customer service and that all she was doing was arguing with me. We eat there frequently so we know exactly how the food is suppose to be. To top the icing on the cake she told me to have a great day and hung up on me. Never even taking my name or number down. So now after spending all this money we are all sitting here starving and have nothing for dinner. Absolutely disgusted with the way I was spoken to and treated and disgusted that food would be even...
Read moreTerrible Dining Experience — Poor Food Quality and Customer Service
I recently visited this place with my family and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
We ordered two steak burritos and one plant-based burrito, and I have to say — the food was terrible. Everything was poorly cooked, completely flavorless (not even salt), and of very bad quality.
To make matters worse, the restaurant itself was extremely dirty. There was food all over the kitchen floor near the service station, and it’s very concerning that staff made no effort to clean it, especially when it’s in plain sight of customers. This says a lot about how the place is managed.
When I brought these concerns to the staff’s attention, the customer service was shockingly bad. Instead of acknowledging the issues or offering to make things right, I was treated as if I was the problem for pointing it out. The staff acted like they had no idea what I was talking about, which was very frustrating.
Given that none of us could eat the food, I politely asked for a refund. However, the response I received was: “I’m not responsible for this, call the number.” — which to me is unacceptable. No one took responsibility, and it felt like they just didn’t care.
Looking around, I also noticed that the place was almost empty compared to other restaurants nearby, which now makes sense given the poor quality of food and service.
In conclusion, I will not be coming back. It was a learning experience, but I hope this review helps others make an...
Read moreI have been a big fan of this place since the beginning when the location at Santa Barbara first opened. I've watched this place grow, and now that I live in alva, I frequent the location off homestead. I use to enjoy the steak when it had the lime twang, then that changed, I was fine with it. I switched to spicy chicken, and I like the ground beef too. Then recently, I visited the homestead location and ordered my burrito, with side of queso, and the beans changed, and the queso. I tried it, and was very disappointed! The burrito is just not the same, and the queso was awful. I chalked it up to maybe a bad night, so I tried the downtown location a few days later, and ordered the same thing. I could tell the queso was the same without trying it. The consistency just isn't there and the flavor taste like something out of a tostitos can you buy from Walmart. As this company has grown it seems quality has continue to go down. If its cost of goods, I understand the want to change, but I'm ok with an increase in cost to ensure consistent quality.. As someone who has frequented your restaurants since day 1, I have to admit I won't be a customer again til the quality comes back. I hope this review will help with future decisions on food quality, and if it changes for the better I will be the first to run back! I miss this place, the one from 5 years ago, the one I ranted to all of my friends about, the one that catered my wife's place of work, the one that had amazing burritos and nachos with...
