I went to this Zaxby's earlier this evening and ordered a chicken finger plate. The girl who rung me up didn't even look at me once the entire time she was taking the order. She had a very poor attitude and seemed to be annoyed at my presence. Once I placed my order I sat down and waited for my name to be called. I heard my name followed by a loud "thunk". When I got up to the counter the tray of food was sitting diagonally on the counter and some of the fries had spilled off the plate. It looked like someone had just carelessly thrown it down on the counter. I asked the young man that was standing there who did it and he said it was the same girl who too my order.
I decided not to raise a fuss about it since it was only a couple of fries, so I sat down and enjoyed my meal. The food was quite good as usual, but the fries were kind of soggy if I'm honest. On my way out the door I thought I'd mention my dissatisfaction with the service to the manager. When I asked for the manager, the person who showed up was the same girl who rung me up! When I started explaining to her why I was dissatisfied, she started yelling at me IN FRONT OF other customers and told me to take it to corporate! I was flabbergasted! She wasn't wearing a nametag, so i asked what her name was but she refused to give it to me. I asked a few of the employees that were standing there behind the counter what her name was and they all said they "didn't know".
I've been to this Zaxby's many times over the past few years and I have never seen anything like this. Heck I've never had service this bad ANYWHERE! Sure I've had bad experiences with sorry employees in the past but never with a MANAGER who is supposed to be representing their business in a professional manner. Read moreOk. I'm usually NOT one to go off on fast food places because I've WORKED fast food on a busy Sunday afternoon. It can be horrible! BUT....I am SO sick of Zaxbys getting stuff wrong, I've GOT to say something. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME we have gotten Zaxbys for lunch, SOMETHING has been wrong with the order. I live far enough away, that it doesn't pay to go back to the restaurant and fix the problem. Today, was the final straw for me. I ordered on the app. I got to the store and the drive through line was CRAZY long, so I thought it would be quicker to go inside to get my food. I was wrong. I waited for 10 minutes before I finally saw something that looked like it could be my order on the back counter. I moved up to the front counter for a better look, and it was indeed my food. After two very unpleasant interactions with employees, I finally asked one of the workers to PLEASE just hand me the bag. I had at this point been waiting roughly 20 minutes. Since there were items left out of our last order, I checked the bag when I got to the car. Sure enough, there were sauces missing, but I was not ABOUT to go back in there!! I would rather just do without them. Then, I get home and my husband's order was wrong (honey mustard instead of bbq wings), and the cheesecake bites were empty! Like NO cheesecake. Just an outer shell. So, I'm officially DONE with Zaxbys. Now, I know that doesn't matter the first bit to anyone in the Zaxbys home office. Read moreThis evening we came to this establishment in the drive thru line. There was one car in front of us at the window. For a solid 20 minutes we never seen anyone come to the window for the car in front of us. Finally a girl appears and hands them their food. When we get up to the window the girl is literally eating her food while handling orders at the window. That's extremely unsanitary. After 15 minutes she finally hands us our food. The whole order was completely wrong, three plates wrong. So my wife takes two of our orders back up there which are wing meals I have looked at my wings so I know what they look like, terrible was an understatement and definitely not typical Zaxby's wings. She takes back up to the door and explains the wing sauces are wrong on both. They take the order in and ask us which car we are parked in, my wife shows them. We wait another 15 minutes and wife has to walk back up there. The girl at the door says you don't have to be so rude as if it's our fault their establishment messed up in more ways than one.
