There are many reasons as to why I am rating this place one star. Normally I don’t even like to leave reviews but this one is a must. Me and my sister came here to have dinner tonight. As we walked through the door, the lady was talking from a distance telling us to have a seat at a table while she was cleaning one. No biggy. After being seated, she asked what we wanted to drink and handed us the menu. After getting our drinks, she asked if we were ready to order, all literally within a few minutes. When we were ordering the food, she stopped taking our order midway to sit down another family coming in. Came back and continued to take our order. We ordered two food dish and one appetizer so far. We wanted to order more but the server took the menu away from us and told us it was enough food. Who freaking does that?? If I wanted to try more off the menu, I should be able to order more because I am a paying customers. To me, that was very rude of her to do especially when I wasn’t done ordering food. Fast forward to the end, we finish our food and she hands us our check acting all nice and friendly. Looks at our dishes and told us we did good. Meaning she was surprise that we finished all our food. Not only did we left not full but we were also unsatisfied and very upset with the server’s rude attitude from the very beginning. Will not be returning here. I definitely don’t recommend this...

The food is always excellent so that's why we come often. If there's one helpful suggestion I could make to the owner to earn a 5-star rating, it would be this: Please remain open a little later during dinner hours. Closing at 8:00 is a little too early for some customers. I understand what it's like for a customer to come in for dinner, say 30 minutes, before closing hours while the kitchen is preparing to clean up. This makes the staff anxious to clear the restaurant so they can go home, and the customer feels that energy and sometimes will write a bad review based on that experience. My wife and I won't come later than 7:30 and we often miss out on a good dinner here because of it. Yes, call it lack of better planning on our part but I'm sure a LOT of customers would give business to Kim's Restaurant after 8:00. And by the look of the "Popular times" for this restaurant, it seems that 8:00 starts their 2nd peak time of the day. The downside to extending the hours is, of course, the extended work day for these two hard-working ladies. Since adding additional staff isn't financially feasible for the business, my suggestion would be to shift operating hours; delay opening for later in the morning and still catch the lunchtime peak and remain open later to catch the dinner peak. The result: same amount of working hours, added revenue, better customer...

Me and my husband came in here for the first time and we were really disappointed... an older lady was very friendly but the waitress that waited on us was not that friendly my husband wanted to look at the sushi menu and she was like are you guys gonna order sushi or from the kitchen she ask and I said both but we felt rush so my husband said never mind on the sushi so we told her what we wanted from the menu. Then she never came back again to check on us until she gave us our food then the older lady walk by and offer us if we need refill on our drink and we got our refill. Then our waitress came a few minutes with our bill then I ask her if I can order fried rice to go and she said they are not cooking anymore rice because they are closing soon and it’s only 7:30 ish pm and they close at 9 pm. And the thing is a couple just walk in to eat so that means if they wanted something with rice that means they can’t get it I guess. So I will never come back to this place ever again. I never gave any bad reviews in the past but this one I was so...

I used to love this place before because the Bibimbap was good. We have to drive 2 hours just to eat here. I was disappointed when they served me the Bibimbap. Just total shame. No vegetables. They only put rice, meat, kimchi, egg and dried seaweed. I am Really disappointed with their serving. And the waitress was really unprofessional and rude. She did not even bother to checked on us to see if we need refill on our drinks. Poor customer service. I will never eat in this place not again! Don’t waste your time and money here, please save yourself and go somewhere else.

I had a great time here, food was delivered promptly and had great taste. Best Korean food I’ve had since being in Korea. They were out of soda, which is fine as I drink tea more and they have a good selection of soju ($13 though yikes, it’s 1.25 in Korea lol) the pork bulgogi was delicious and the boki was perfectly done. They make it for American pallets so it isn’t spicy at all and they do the unlimited sides of different side dishes for free which is awesome. Recommend giving it a try. They do charge more if using your card.

We have been eating here for over 10 years. It is a 45 to 60 minute drive for us from Pensacola, but the quality and value is worth it for us. The wife loves their Yukgaejang soup, and I have like all I have eaten there. I have had bi-bim-bop, kimchee chigae and fried rice among other dishes. My favorite is the yaki mandu, a fried Korean wonton with ground pork. I have eaten it several times in Korea and Korean homes, but the BEST is available here!
