I went to BWW on 2/4/25 around 7pm and was discriminated for some odd reason. I went there to watch a game and Victor (Host) whom was very kind and friendly helped me with my seating and got an NHL game on tv for me as well as wiped my table down from previous customers left over mess. Chase (a server) came to ask me who my fav. Hockey team is and we started chatting for a bit. My sever (Shei) came to pick up the previous customers receipt as I was sitting there and just walked away. About 10 mins later she comes up and says she thought I was the previous customers. I told her no I just sat there and ordered a Michelob Ultra. Later I ordered another beer while I was watching the game and kept noticing my server along with the bartender Eesha and other workers kept huddling together by the bar glancing at me frequently. When I asked for a 3rd beer, she said I needed to order some food. I asked if this was a new policy as I've been coming here for 2 years and never been told this. I also noticed a few other customers that have been there before I even got there who were ordering drinks and no food. Anyhow, I ordered food. After being there for a while watching the game, I asked for another drink and I noticed my sever Shei went straight to the back and not to the bartender whom I’ve got bad vibes from ever since some situation that happened. Nonetheless, my server came out and tells me her manager Jessica Bailey doesn't think I should have more drinks. I mind you, I have not had much to drink and ate food so this totally threw me off guard, not to mention, many other customers there have been drinking prior to me being there without ordering any food. I asked to speak to the manager Jessica. She comes and tells me that they can't serve me anymore drinks. I ask what's the reason and she says ALL of her customers safety. I then tell her then why doesn't she tell ALL the other customers whom I pointed out to her the same thing and she tells me “it's about you not the other customers” (Contradicting herself). I tell her she just said ALL her customer'S' safety and told her I haven't even drank much and all these people before me have been drinking wayyyy more. She then tells me “this is about you not them”. I did nothing wrong nor caused any drama or misbehavior whatsoever... it's just not the type of person I am and many staff and bartenders there would vouch for that. I truly believe I was discriminated against with NO explanation on why the decision was made. I was so shocked as I've been going there many times as a regular for a couple years and never came across this at all. Again, there were many others drinking wayyyy more than I was but for some reason I was specifically targeted. The assistant general manager Jessica Bailey gave no explanation into why that decision was made as I kept asking her she repeatedly just responded with, “ we’re done here”! I felt I deserved an explanation for such decision made. I will certainly escalate this situation further. This is completely unacceptable ! I have video proof and will take proper further action. Jessica Bailey you need to be fired/ demoted or at the bare minimum you need much coaching on the basic fundamentals of customer service not to mention the overall standard of BWW to uphold the mission statement and core values as a leadership to value your guests and communities you must strive to treat them with respect. The highest legal, moral and ethical standards of honesty, integrity and fairness are to be demonstrated in conducting with all Buffalo Wild Wings guests. If Jessica Bailey an assistant GM tells one customer they can't drink alcohol but doesn't address other customers who may be exhibiting similar drinking or more, then it’s clearly "selective enforcement" and/ or "discriminatory practice" essentially, applying rules unevenly to different customers, can raise concerns about fairness and potential legal issues. Selectively enforcing rules can be seen as unethical as it can create a perception of favoritism or unfair treatment towards...
Read moreI want to start this off by saying that Lexie was a great waitress. She did wonderful.
That being said I am appalled by my experience tonight. I went there with my daughter(4yrs old), we ordered our food and waited for it to arrive. It was a little slow but we are pretty patient so we did not mind it. Our food arrives to the table and we start to eat when my daughter needs to use the bathroom. We go and on our way back to the table, I notice it has been cleared and my heart breaks. We were not eating for very long and nowhere near being done. I had over half my wings left and my daughter had not even finished half of her grilled cheese and it was all thrown away in the few minutes it took us to use the restroom. As we pass the servers, all standing around towards the kitchen area, I catch Lexie's eye and you can see in her face that she felt bad. She quickly saw what happened and told me that the busser said everything was stacked up so he thought we left. It was nowhere near "stacked up". We go to sit back down at our now empty table and my daughter noticed her headband was cleared from the table too and she starts to cry. As i am hugging her and trying to console her, Lexie comes over very apologetically and tells me that they will remake the food, while I appreciated it, my appetite was gone. I tell her thank you but I need the headband now. Of course, a little girl crying is going to turn some heads so now we have all eyes in the place on us. I guess this catches the attention of the person that cleaned the table because they brought the headband back, and took the cleaning rag. No apology or anything from them. I accept the remake of our order, but ask for it togo. As we wait, Lexie offers some paper and pens to my daughter so she can color and ask her to make her a picture. Lexie is doing her best to make my daughter happy and keep her occupied as we had to wait. I ask for the check and Lexie checks on our food and talks with the manager about what she can do for us. She brings the check and explains that she spoke with the manager and they "compensated the remade food". What the hell. Is it common practice to throw away someone's food while they are eating and then make them pay again for replacing it? I didn't want a free meal and never expected one, but I also did not want to make a scene. Something more should have been done and easily could have been. This manager did nothing. They stayed in the back and let their employee deal with the consequences of their team. I would hope the manager would come out and have the heart to apologize and have the teams back for the misunderstanding or whatever occurred but I never saw them and never got an apology from them. I am a single father trying my best for my daughter and hate the assumption that we just "left" when I take her to go use the restroom. I believe the manager could use some training about when to throw away someone's food and when to be patient so that they can pass it down to their team.
The only good thing about this experience was our waitress, Lexie. I do not plan on being back to this...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience. Management is unprofessional. The staff was like lord of the flies with no manager on the floor and appear to have zero training. Every single employee had such a panicked look on their face.
We came in to the store to the hostess literally pointing at tables saying that one is open (no I'm not talking bar seating). She tried to get me to sit at the bar top with my niece and I told her no.
The server greeted us quickly but that's about the only thing she did right. It took 15 min to get my beer even though I sat right in front of the bar. When we got our food it came without ranch, sauce, carrots, celery, and napkins. We asked the lady that brought our food for the sauces and she never returned. We kept trying to flag people down including our server and she just power walked by. My niece's drink was empty for 20 min and her food got cold before she brought the dipping sauce which took another 10 min once we asked her for it. Yes 30 min after we asked for it. We were never given napkins...we finally just got drink naps from the bar ourselves and I mean come on....its wings!
I finally went to the takeout counter and asked to speak to the manager. She asked what I needed so I repeated that I needed to speak to a manager. She just said I can help you and never said whether she was a manager or not. I know she was probably the kitchen manager or key hourly but she sure didnt act like it. She had auburn hair up in a ponytail. She was incredibly rude. When I told her the stuff we needed she just kept sighing and giving me attitude while continuing to punch away on the computer. She gave us the ranch right away and never even apologized for our experience. She couldn't even manage to speak to me civilly, look at me, or give even a little sorry considering the food sat for 30 min before my niece could eat it.
My family and I have worked in and managed restaurants for years and I cant believe a company would allow someone like this to keep their job. She is not only unprofessional but is obviously incompetent. The poor staff was so deep they really have no chance when they dont have the support they need from the management. Its apparent others have had similar experiences here based on the reviews.
This is the 3rd time I've had a bad experience with management at Buffalo Wild Wings and nothing was done about any of the incidents. I have actually never even spoke to corporate at any other restaurant besides Bdubs. They always give me a number to call and explain what happened and basically use my time as a "learning experience" while doing nothing to reassure me anything was done about the managers or even bothering to give a stinking coupon or...
