Our family visited this locations drive through last night. We have been here before and always had a good experience which keeps us coming back. Well last night was more of an exceptional experience. Friday night, and they were BUSY, to no surprise, of course. We knew we would be waiting a little while and was really no big deal because we are familiar with this locations volume, especially on Fridays.
We gave them our order at the speaker and Kaley took our payment a little bit up the line outside and in the cold. She repeated the order and said she LOVED what i ordered and if I wanted a more flavorful burger that next time I should try grilled jalapenos. I thanked her and we waited for our order. I told my husband that she was very nice to have recommended that. We went on to talk about why is Whataburger so good and a staple for Texas?
To our surprise, Kaley came out with our drinks and she said, "I'm having them remake yours, the carbonation and syrup ratio was not good, so it will be right out." I thanked her for the communication and let her know it was not a problem. I again tell my husband that i'm impressed with the service tonight.
Kaley proceeds to give us our order and she said, "As a thank you for being so patient while you waited such a long time, I have provided complimentary cookies to your order."
Not going to lie, I was so impressed with the service that I wanted to cry. Her generosity, caring spirit and the smile on her face while she worked in the cold was refreshing. We haven't had the best of luck here lately and I just really wanted to share my positive experience about this location. I hope I got her name right because I want her to receive the recognition she deserves. In all the darkness in our life, for a brief moment she was a light. Not only that, that was probably THE best burger I have ever had in my Whataburger experiences.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE WONDERFUL SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE.

Read moreSo I’m not proud to say it but I’ve been to this whataburger many times over the years, and it this point I am losing hope I can ever get the right order. I used to work in haslet and I got to the point that I would drive to Roanoke for food during those hours because during the night you can expect to take up to 50 minutes to get your food, and that’s if they even get your order correct. I don’t think I’ve ever left the drive thru with everything my meal should come with. Multiple times I have bit into a burger and thought I bit a block of salt, I know you can get ocean water at sonic but if you want an ocean burger come here, get the salt of the sea on your tongue. Ask for no onions on a burger, you can bet they’ll be on there, but be wary that you might not have any cheese on it. I remember awhile ago my friends wanted to have lunch here, and when we got our meals our friend had a raw uncooked fry in his container, I don’t even know how that happens. I have met a few very nice workers here, but I have also sat in line listening to workers shout and curse and play around while people have been sitting for 15 minutes just to make an order. It’s very likely that if you pull up to the drive through intercoms no one will ever come on the speaker to take your order, best bet is to take a lap around and get back in line. Over all I only hope someone in charge try’s to make improvements to this place, it’s a great location but myself and many other people I know have no good words to say...
Read moreI normally don’t leave Google reviews, but the service at this Whataburger is so very egregious that it needs to be known. I enjoy Whataburger but this location in particular brings shame to the brand. Upper management should be disappointed in this place. I would’ve given this place only one star if it wasn’t for the fact that the food was consistently good in my experience.
The last time I ordered here, it took a good 45 minutes to an hour for them to get me my food, and I ordered inside instead of at the drive-thru. Nobody in the FAST FOOD business should have any excuse to work so slowly, ever, especially with Chick-fil-A next door being extremely efficient at all hours of the day no matter what. What’s Chick-fil-A doing with their service that this Whataburger can’t? I’ve eaten at dine-in restaurants whose service was much faster than this Whataburger, which is absolutely pathetic.
What’s worse is the service here wasn’t always so slow. They used to get food out in an actual timely manner before COVID happened. I used to come to this Whataburger fairly regularly since I live nearby, but until they either change management and/or do something about their slow service (I doubt it), I’ll be avoiding this place from now on.
I recommend going to the Whataburger on Byron Nelson instead, which is the next nearest one to me. They've never screwed me with ludicrous wait times, whether I order inside or at the drive-thru, and I absolutely love that. This Whataburger should take notes...
