I have never experienced worse customer service! The Assistant Manager, Zi needs to learn how to talk to people and take some customer service training. We were going to buy a carry on suitcase along with a bag that goes over the handle. We were getting ready to pay, but were still browsing for more. She approached us said she would get another set them from the back. After waiting forever, she finally comes over- without the set she told us she was getting. And basically takes the suitcase from us tells us for future reference don’t put the bag over the suitcase because we ruined it and she has to trash it now. She said you can’t just roll them around the store like that. And she kept saying loudly “She stretched it out. We cannot sell this now.” What?! Hello… we were trying to buy it and you came to us and said you were getting a different ones from the back? We asked if we can just buy it and she stared at us with a blank face so we said…I guess not? So we were leaving and in a very very condescending way, she says, “bye have a great day.” Zero customer service. Extreme sarcasm and very loud. I asked what her name is, and she said, “Zi, I’m the assistant manager.” I said that’s why you’re an assistant manager. Again, she said, “bye, have a great day.” The crazy thing is that we wanted to purchase both items, and I always shop here; never again.There is probably a bunch I left out but the point is, she was so rude to tell us to never do that again for future reference even though we wanted to buy them! Read moreI was really impressed shopping here with Lauren who helped me find some amazing shoes and purses. I love the quality of MK and Lauren made it a beautiful experience.
However, when I went to do a return, I felt shamed for wearing the shoes around the house to see if I could wear them (I've had surgery on my feet and normally can't wear cute shoes). I was told the shoes were "unsellable" which really, it would take 5 minutes to clean the bottom of them. I was told to walk on carpet next time, and I truly felt diminished and like an idiot.
I know that part is on me, but I will not return to shop here as this is often why I choose to not walk into name brand stores. I should not feel less than no matter what I look like, how much I spend, or whatnot. The refund policy said 30 days, when I got home, the shoes were too tight on my feet and I could not wear them. I shouldn't have to convince someone to do a return. She did the return as a "one time courtesy" and still, I felt like a child being punished for breaking something.
Please be kind to people. You don't know what people are going through on any given day. I still like MK, but I won't make the drive to come...
Read moreI gave this 2 stars because Megan saved the day. If she was the only person I encountered, I would have given 5 stars. But when the burnt orange head and the scruffy bun brunette are the ones in charge, then the review needs to be accurate. First time at Ft. Worth outlet, huge shopper, love purses. Went into Michael Kors, no greeting or customer service. The orange and scruff bun standing at the shades counter could have cared less about being at work. Young Indian male at the register- same attitude. Looking snooty just like the customer is impeding on their schedules. I was so upset I was about to leave. When this ray of light at the back of the store Megan ask us did we need some help. To make a long story short I wanted to give Megan kudos for being so awesome however when she told me who was in charge I decided not to speak to them. I like MK and buy often however, I would make a trip all the way back to Fort Worth to shop with Megan.
