Chuy's unseats Kincaid's as Fort Worth's best home town owned "Hamburger" joint.
You read that right. Now...deservedly Kincaids deserves still to be in the top 5. Charlie's, The Goat, Tommy's are of course unchanged in their ranking but because of the surprise upset...The Goat or Jake's will vye for number 1 with Jake's being the automatic loser by default because it's a chain. So that means Chuy's is Top until the staff gets to The Goat.
yknow how Kincaids beef is quality and pretty lean but a little too dry? The bun not being soggy and gross on the bottom but still too small. Kincaid's has been in business before you were born and they're still trying to make up their mind about the bun. Well chuy's has the SAME qualiry beef its just a little more moist but doesn't even have a chance to ruin the bottom bun.
The bottom bun is huge and the first thought is man...whoa...I have so much less meat...but thats deceiving because the patty is the same size but just a bigger bottom bun.
The bun is fresh, slightly toasted and hold the whole sandwhich together during the entire meal. I had the Foche with no cheese. It comes with avacado and the best bacon slice on a hamburger that will knock any burger joint out if the ballpark.
The meat is high quality and seasoned to really bring out the flavor of the beef. It comes out piping hot so let it cool for a couple of minutes...but not a few...you will want to dig right in and be surprised that a mexican place can make such a great burger. It makes you think that it's so good the owner must have changed the place to be a mexican restaurant because his burgers would become too famous. Now people are compelled to order fajitas or tacos or nachoes...who would order a burger at a taco place...
just like their physical address...the best thing on their menu is hidden in plain site. ...
Read moreThis was one of my favorite spots but after today I want be returning I rather spend my money with people that care about their customers. I ordered a chicken and beef chimichanga on my lunch once I got back to work I noticed I was given 2 beef one ground beef and one fajita I called the lady swore that that is what I ordered. She placed me on hold the manager got on the phone. He was very nasty with me said that he knew for a fact that his workers took my order correctly and that I ordered it incorrect. I called him when I got back to work and was trying to speak to him at the same time he said that was Reason why my order was placed wrong because I was trying to order on my lunch break. I couldn’t believe this manager hung up in my face and when I called back they didn’t answer!!! All because my order was made wrong that I’ve paid my hard earned money for!!! I’ve always bragged about this place but after today 👎🏾 It was like I was having to argue with impleaded about my food being made incorrectly. I explained to him all I want is what I asked for and if I had to pay the difference, I will. He went on to say that this time he will allow me to pay the difference for what I ordered for it, but he know that I made the order incorrectly. The worst customer service ever I would never ever come back here. I have done a lot of referrals for this place. I have nothing but good things to say about this place in the past, but Dealing with them today I don’t ever wanna deal with anyone that does not take consideration of...
