Disappointing Experience Jimmy John's - Urgent Attention Required
Dear Jimmy John's Management,
I am writing to express my profound disappointment following my recent visit to the Jimmy John's location at 9316 Clifford St on Saturday 10/12/24 around 3 PM. My family and I had high expectations, given our past experiences at this franchise. However, what transpired during this visit was far from acceptable and warrants immediate attention.
Upon entering the completely empty shop, I was greeted by just two employees: a younger woman at the cashier register and an older gentleman at the meat slicer. I attempted to place a straightforward order for 12 half sandwiches, a request I have successfully made multiple times at this location when it was bustling with customers. To my dismay, the cashier informed me that "any catering order must be made online, 24 hours in advance." This was perplexing, as I have never encountered such a policy before.
When I asked her to point out where this 24-hour notice was stated, she merely deferred to the man at the slicer, who, instead of assisting me with my order, began asking irrelevant questions that did nothing to address my needs. This unnecessary line of questioning was not only frustrating but also made it clear that my business was not valued at that moment.
When I inquired whether he wanted my business or was refusing my order, his shocking response was, "I do not want your business." This level of disregard is astonishing and unacceptable for any customer, let alone someone who has been a loyal patron of your franchise.
I have never experienced such unprofessionalism at a sandwich shop before. It is hard to fathom that any franchise owner would entrust their reputation and business to staff who display such a lack of care and competence.
I urge you to take this matter seriously and ensure that your employees are trained to provide the level of service that customers deserve. I would appreciate it if the franchise owner could personally reach out to me to discuss this incident and rectify the situation. This is not just about my experience; it reflects on the values and standards of the Jimmy John's brand.

Not just say “I don’t handle these situations I just make sandwiches” if all you do is make sandwiches you have no business being on the phone AARON. The fact that you were so offended probably means that you are the one who made the mistakes on more than half of the sandwiches. And for paying over 50$ you best believe I want them the way I requested and paid for.
