I’ll start with My positive remarks are that I enjoy their staff. They are very friendly and I know when I speak to them in Spanish they feel better and understood and they are very nice to me. (And I hope during this remodel they took care of their employees because they deserve it) But I have an issue with this new concept they are trying to do. I came in today this morning around 10 AM 8/24/2024. I pull into the drive through and I tell them my code for my mobile app, it was deal for a FREE hash brown if I purchased a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I said my code, it came up on the screen and it’s linked to my card so I didn’t have to present a payment. I also ordered a CARAMEL LATTE because I do like McDonald’s coffee, and I choose to go here instead of Starbucks. Well when I pulled up to the window where you’re supposed to receive your order they asked me what they could help me with? And I said “my order”? Confused. Then the lady just told me to go to the NEXT window. Then a manger or I don’t know who they were asked me again what I needed (still no food in hand AND I never got a receipt) so of course they think I’m crazy. But I was charged, so no I’m not leaving without my food. They eventually found my order and my drink and handed it to me. But I checked my bag and NO HASHBROWN - that was the point of using my app coupon. No one returned to the window since it wasn’t a normal one that was operating. I’m in a rush for work and didn’t want to get off but I parked and went inside. To my surprise they remodeled this place to the future of McDonald’s where everything is mobile. No one at the front, but luckily a sweet young man asked me what could he help me with. I said I don’t have a receipt for proof but I input my code for a free hasbrown and I didn’t get it. He was happy to get it for me and thanked him and left. Then as I get to work ready to drink my morning coffee, my coffee was basically HOT MILK. It was all white (picture attached). Im not sure but I think this location has a machine where you press a button for coffee and it spits it out. I’m just disappointed and I hope they fix these issues. Read moreThis McDonald’s, right across the street from IHOP, is hands down one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the place looked filthy — tables covered in crumbs, sticky floors, and trash overflowing from bins. It’s shocking that a restaurant with such a big name could be this careless about cleanliness and basic customer comfort.
The staff here act like they don’t want to be bothered. Not only was my order wrong, but when I tried to politely correct it, I got attitude instead of help. The energy in this place is awful — no sense of professionalism, no respect for customers, and zero accountability. It feels like management doesn’t care about running a clean or respectful establishment.
What really disgusted me was the way some employees talked to customers. I overheard comments that were completely inappropriate and offensive, and no one stepped in to stop it. A restaurant that allows that kind of behavior says a lot about its culture and leadership — and none of it is good. No one should feel disrespected or uncomfortable when they’re just trying to grab a meal.
Overall, this McDonald’s needs serious retraining, cleaning, and management changes. If you’re in the area, just walk across the street to IHOP — you’ll get better service, cleaner tables, and staff who actually treat you like a human being. I’ll never be coming...

Service is almost always slow unless there’s like 2 or 3 ppl in line then it’s fast. Usually I’m like whatever. They’re just slow. It’s just how it is. I don’t expect much from them and sometimes I’ll go to the other McDonald’s on fielder bc they deliver quality service. But today I just wanted breakfast before it ended real quick and I went to the drive through I was in the second lane. And right away the lady said hold on. I was like okay cool. Two cars in the other lane got their order taken before she spoke to me. And then I said excuse me a few times. Asked if anyone was there. And I said they took the other two cars orders. Then they started taking a third cars order and I was like nah she on bs. So I got out of line to go inside. And I parked right near the drive thru speaker. Got out of my car. AND SHE TOOK THE CAR THAT WAS BEHIND ME ORDER!! Idk if yall have a camera and can see and saw I was black so she was being racist. Or maybe she playing in that kitchen. Idk. But that pissed me off so bad. And it was my final straw. And it’s part of why I hate this McDonald’s and yeah. The one on fielder is better and would not recommend this one.
