Love love love this pizza joint! First time at the joint visiting some friends and family back in Texas and so glad my friend took me here to try before I head home. Will always be thinking about this place now when I go back to Washington DC! The pizza there can't beat what's going up here at Mister 01 Extraordinary! Our server Liam was the best, not only is a really good server he knows how to tell the story of the location. Liam's way of telling the story of how Mister 01 came to be was really immersive and gave such good context to the restraunt and he had good recommendations. We tried the Extraordinary Claudio and Luca and then had a Mimmo and hands down just really good pizza. My favorite is probably the Mimmo with the Claudio coming down to a close second but the Luca paired so well with the Mimmo. You can do half half pies of flavors, I think there's only two you can't do that for which the Claudio was one of them but the Claudio, you need a whole pie for the table. The cheese and the spread and seasoning were just so amazing that it blew our minds. I would if I could do it all over again, to have that first experience of trying the slice all over again. One thing that I find super unique is their spicy olive oil that they sell and such good quality product that they have. Literally bought one just so I could show off to my coworkers. After the main course was done we decided to do dessert and we were thinking of just the regular Nutella pizza but Liam stopped us and personally said the banana and Nutella calzone was the better tasting and he was spot on. After eating two main pies between the 3 of us, the calzone was just perfectly sweet, not overly sweet and just amazing with its crispy texture as well with the filling inside. It was such a good experience and would recommend people to try it especially for the story, the great people and most of all the food! Thank you Liam! Honestly if I go back I'm only asking for...
Read moreWe had a fantastic time at the new Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza in Alliance! The whole experience, from the welcoming host stand to our amazing server Chase, was top-notch. We had a little bit of a wait, but absolutely worth it! The food lived up to the hype and then some. We shared the Star Luca and Mimmo pizzas (half and half on the star-shaped crust - so good), plus a large Caesar salad for the table and the burrata with white truffle oil you inject yourself which was fun and delicious!
Our daughter, whoâs super picky about pizza, loved her custom small pie and even got a Mister O1 stuffed animal while we waited, such a sweet opening weekend touch. Everything from service to presentation was on point. Plates were cleared and reset between courses, and the staff brought great energy to birthday celebrations. We loved being able to see the kitchen get involved.
We finished with the Nutella and banana calzone and already canât wait to go back. The thin, crisp crust on the pizzas and dessert were perfection and didnât leave you uncomfortably full. Weâre excited they have a to-go area for future pick-up nights.
Mister O1 has become a new family favorite for pizza. Great atmosphere, food, price, and genuinely thoughtful service. Looking forward to...
Read moreDisclaimer: I am the ultimate pizza snob, so take my input for what itâs worth.
First off, service â on point. The two young ladies working today were absolutely fantastic. They knew their stuff, gave me the backstory on how the business started, and even helped me decide what to order.
I went with the Star Carlos and a small sausage pizza.
Small Sausage Pizza: This is the winner of the two. Jimmyâs Italian sausage just hits â Jimmyâs in Dallas always does the damn thing, period. The crust? Couldâve been a touch crispier for my liking. The sauce? Honestly, didnât get much flavor there. But that sausage alone? Five stars.
Star Carlos: This one didnât wow me. The arugula completely took over â like, full diva mode, center stage. I couldnât really taste much else until I got a bite with ricotta. I had to push aside some of the greens just to locate the so-called âSpanish chorizo,â which, to me, tasted more like ground beef with taco seasoning. Definitely not the chorizo I know.
Would I go back? Eh⌠maybe if the group picked it, but itâs not high on my personal must-return list.
Again â major props to the two girls running the floor today. They were the highlight...
