I have been to this location and Las Colinas, the latter is much better.
This location the staff are often more involved with conversations with each other than with the customer. I waited about 1 ½ minutes at the counter while 2-3 staff members talked to each other before they acknowledged myself & other guests.
I visited in the afternoon pre grand opening & in the morning post grand opening, the service and availability are consistent. The pastry selection greatly pales in comparison to it's other locations. There were 10 staff up front, 2-3 appeared to be training (so 4-6 trainer/trainee) the other 4 were just talking amongst themselves. The pastry were mostly empty at 7:54am, but there were about 4 completely full racks visible through the double doors; unfortunately only one person was restocking everything.
I would skip this location and travel 20 minutes further East to Las Colinas, the music, service and environment are MUCH better.
August Update I went this morning at 6:30am and the cases were still being stocked, so still bare compared to Las Colinas. The music still is not desirable and has more of a Dunkin Donuts vibe. We tried the fall flavors Cookie Butter King Cream and Cookie Butter Cruffin. The King Cream was more doughy, like Krispy Kreme donuts, vs the more brioche like doughnuts served at their Grand Prairie and Las Colinas locations. It also lacked flavor, my teen daughter remarked after tasting the Cruffin and Cookie Butter Macchiato, "At least it's better than Starbucks..." before she offered it to me and ultimately threw them both away.
We also purchased a Four Cheese Pastry, which had large chunks of white onion in it, a beautiful Cinnamon Apple pastry (apples have a crunch to them, which I prefer), which tasted great on the initial bite, but the after taste was metallic and I decided to not finish, and a Ham & Cheese pastry I'm reserving for lunch... or may not eat at all due to my disappointment.
Another commenter remarked, this location is good for a chain bakery. Howevrr, after trying this location on 3 separate occasions, I believe one's money is better spent at D'caramel in Southlake at a comparable price or at Central Market at a much lower cost. That said, if you're a family of 4+ go to Costco where the flavors and cost/benefit are MUCH better.
To the owner, the staff were more polite and attentive than before. It appears that there is only ever one person responsible for the complete stocking of all the cases, which explains why there is always limited availability. It appears that there is improvement amongst the staff and customer relations. I'm not sure what is being done differently food wise than the other locations, but my...
Read moreItâs really a shame the amount of 1 star reviews this place has received. Itâs a new business, give them some grace.
The employees here are very kind, and assisting which made my first time here memorable. I arrived around 7pm, and imo there was still a good selection. Apparently they bake everything that morning- afternoon and whatever sells out, sells out. I prefer that over them getting baked goods imported like most places, and Iâm sure if they did do that, yâall would still find something to complain about. Phones exist for a reason, prior to my coming I called making sure there was an adequate selection. I spoke to Lillian who was so sweet and knowledgeable. I ordered the chai tea latte, cold, which was shockingly delicious. I say shockingly because most placesâ chai is not great, but theirs will have me coming back for sure. For my pasty I ordered the strawberry croissant..? It has cream filling as well as, you guessed it, strawberries. Iâm sure fresh, it wouldâve tasted better, but it wasnât bad. I probably wouldnât get it again as I would want to try other items.
Call before arriving and if the selection is too skimpy for you, come back another day. The 1 star reviews are so unnecessary. Grown adults throwing temper tantrums. Yâall should be embarrassed.
My only 2 complaints would be first, the customers. For reasons unknown to me, around the pastry stand, customers were just standing there talking as if that was the appropriate area to converse around. Heads up, itâs not. If you have a large party, be mindful and go 2x2. No one should have to navigate around you to grab a pastry because youâre deep in conversation, inconsiderate, or both. Secondly, the majority of tables were dirty, and there were no forks. Again, this is a newly opened business so I would expect this because people forget...
Read morePicture this: Itâs a quiet morning, the sun is just waking up, and Iâarmed with caffeine cravings and a hopeful sweet toothâwaltz into the newly minted Paris Baguette, becoming their second customer EVER. Thatâs right, folks. I was practically part of history.
They were still setting upâcounters being fluffed, boxes still whispering, âUnpack me!ââbut oh lĂ là ⌠the pastries were ready for their close-up. I snagged four delectable beauties which my friend and I shamelessly demolished like sugar-starved pastry pirates. (No regrets. Not even a crumb.)
And thenâcue dramatic musicâthere it was. The baguette. One glorious bite and I was instantly transported back to my carefree youth in France, where the bread is crusty, the days are long, and carbs are celebrated like national treasures.
But this isnât just a bakeryâitâs a vibe. A cozy, golden-glowed corner of happiness where you can bring friends, sip something warm, and pretend you're effortlessly chic.
The staff? Friendlier than a golden retriever at a barbecue. I was greeted by everyone, like a VIP at a doughnut gala. I even had a charming chat with the owner, RPâRatnakar. Think of him as the Willy Wonka of baked goodsâengaging, kind, and genuinely thrilled to welcome every guest.
â¨Grand opening is at the end of Mayâbut why wait for the confetti when you can go NOW and frolic among the flaky, buttery wonders? They open at 6 AM (yes, morning people rejoice!) and close at 9 or 10 PM, depending on how many people are still drooling at the display case.
Bottom line: Paris Baguette isnât just a bakery. Itâs a delicious adventure with a French accent. Go now. Your tastebuds will thank you. đđĽ
