We just left this Rosa's on Overton Ridge, this was our 1st and last visit to this location. I wish I could say it was good however, when we were half way through our meal, 2 FW police officers walk in. They went to talk with an employee then walked straight over to the table next to ours. where a man that was directly in front of us in line to order, was sitting and eating his food. We had all been there for at least 30 minutes by this time. The man was clearly homeless and a bit dirty. Aside from talking to himself a few times, this man did not bother a single person (customer nor employee) in the restaurant the entire time he was there. He was sitting right beside us the entire time he was there after being directly in front of us in line and other than the 1x he refilled his drink, he never even got up from his seat.
When we asked, the officer stated that the restaurant manager had called them and told them the man appeared drunk and they were afraid he would be a problem. So my question is, why did you accept this man's order and his money in the first place? If you thought he was going to be an issue, than you thought that the moment he walked in to your restaurant and ordered/paid for his food/drink. He never caused any problems the entire time he was there and did not appear to be drunk to us, just homeless, dirty & HUNGRY. No issues at all, not while he was sitting waiting for his food, not while he was eating his food, and not when he walked over and refilled the drink, ALL that he paid for. So again, at what point did you begin to think this homeless man was drunk and now going to be problem exactly?
You have the right to refuse service to anyone. Therefore, if you didn't want a homeless man in your restaurant, you should have refused him service immediately. Not wait until he had ordered his food, PAID FOR his food and was in the middle of his meal before deciding to now call the police and make them be the bad...
Read moreWent to eat a late lunch around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday after visiting someone in Fort Worth. I usually go to the one in Mansfield, which is far more busy, but this one seemed to have better tasting food. Everything was okay until my mom who is 82 started eating her food bit onto a piece of what left of a plastic fork. I told her to take her receipt along with the plastic partical to let them know she wanted a new plate.. She said people were very rude to her, asking her what did she want them to do, even after she said she wanted a new plate after showing them the plastic. Finally the manager brought her back to the table where we were eating, and as he approached the table, I heard him asking her again the same thing. Then he saw me, at the table as well, then his attitude changed, I told him yes she wanted a new plate because of the plastic. He hurried right away to get her a new plate which was really hot and my mom got to finally enjoy her meal. Later the manager also brought her a gift card to make up for the bad treatment and also the piece of plastic in her food. I'm only telling this story, because; number one, she is old and second she is also a black woman. I can't help but wonder, if she was any other race would she had been treated so rudely. This should not be! Especially to someone who is elderly. My Mom has a sound mind. When will this dislike for black people end....God made us black,...
Read moreMy experience was awful, I ordered a plate from the picture and they served me something else. I took it back, and asked for a refund, supposedly they refunded my card. But I have not seen that refund back for the food I returned. I returned it within seconds of receiving it, did not even touch it. I immediately went to the cashier and they processed the card to give me the money back, but yet I have not received it. They have video surveillance, they can check their cameras and see for themselves. I'm still waiting to get my refund, I am going to give them a few more days if I don't see it, I will go back. If they refuse I'll let you all know! OK, I got my refund, thank God. Sadly though I went thru this bad experience for nothing. I used to love going to this place, especially on the Taco Tuesday's. But the day I choose to try something different. It totally backfires and sadly the employees are not any help. In my opinion they need serious training in product knowledge, because they offered no solutions, no suggestions, did not know what I was talking about, even though I showed them the pictures. Sadly customer service is deteriorating so bad now that I guess just like many other businesses that have bad customer service, I should just avoid them. I will give them two stars because at least I got my money back. But I will still never...
