Avoid Sam's Club if at all possible, and never, never, never buy a cell phone through them! I bought a Samsung Note 7 through Sam's Club about a month ago. The purchase was relatively uneventful, but it took about an hour to go through all of the account information and paperwork to get the transaction done with the lone employee staffing both the cell phone "department" and the photo department. After hearing about the potential for this phone to explode, I visited Sam's Club again about five days ago to ask what the return/exchange process would be. They had no clue whatsoever. So I went to Sam's Club again today, after hearing that new phones had been received at retailers, and the lone employee asked if I was on "the list". I told him no, I didn't know of any list. He asked if I bought my phone at Sam's Club, and I let him know I had. He then told me they had two phones, one of which was already spoken for, but I couldn't exchange my phone without the box and the paperwork from my initial purchase. That would have been nice information to have heard on my last visit. So I asked him if he could hold on to the phone for about a half hour or so while I went to get the few pieces of paper and cardboard box that were required to exchange my phone that could explode at any time. After making the trek home, digging up the box and paperwork, and driving back yet again, I found a new employee helping a customer in the cell phone "department". After quite a wait, we went through the same dance. "Are you on the list?" "No, I don't know about any list, but I was here about 45 minutes ago, and told the same thing to the previous guy who said he would hold it for me, but I had to go home to get the all-important box and paperwork." "Oh. Well you can't exchange your phone if you're not on the list..." Still no mention of how I get on this VIP exchange list. Then he went back to helping another customer, with me waiting again. Eventually I got fed up with waiting and trying to fight this losing battle and left. Now I am leaving town for two weeks, on a plane, with a potentially exploding phone, while I wait for Sam's Club to figure out what they are doing. It is disappointing they don't take this matter more seriously and make some sort of effort to serve (and keep) their customers. Needless to say, I regret buying a Sam's Club membership and spending about $1000 on a phone there. Hopefully I'll only have to deal with this place one more time, if I ever get on the VIP list for exploding phone exchanges, before renewing my membership at Costco - where they actually know how to take care of their customers. Sam's Club makes you feel like you just paid a $45 membership fee to go to...

If you really think about it it's idiotic to shop at this place! It's like a famous coffee joint that I won't mention the name of that I just can't figure out why so many people spend their money there. I went with my friend today. We had to park at the very back of the lot, because there was so many people wanting to spend their money at the store. Baskets were absolutely everywhere and my friend moved their car three times to avoid basket/cart exposure. Their prices are literally outrageous to the point could they not hire a lot attendant or someone to bring in the carts/baskets? You can't buy medium quantity items for a family of less than 30, LOL. Not literally, was just being silly as I know this is a bulk shopping store. However, I know there must be a huge amount of waste, as many people cannot consume that amount of food before it expires. I purchased one thing which was their danishes with cream cheese blueberry and I think cherry. They were made on July 30th and the latest date I can find expired on August 2nd. Really!. Then after we walk this huge store and overspend excessively in my opinion, then we the privilege of checking ourselves out, WITHOUT BAGS, OR BOXES ANYWHERE NEARBY TO FACILITATE YOUR ITEMS. You then have to put most of your items raw in the baskets and find boxes on your way out. On your way out you standing another sometimes long line to prove that you purchased all the items in your basket that you just walked less than 150 ft from the cashier station to the door. Between those two areas since it is only cashier stands on the left and a snack bar center on the right. You have to show your receipt to exit and then they scan several items in your basket to make sure that those items are on your receipt. And all these people pay a fee to be able to shop in a place like this! Just one person's opinion in a million. However, I didn't find anything there that I can't find somewhere else. CRAZY to have to pay a MEMBERSHIP FEE to shop at a store that doesn't have carts/baskets available or check out individuals or bags for your groceries. No thank you. I'll spend my money...
Read morei walked in at 1:30 on a wednesday and i got my groceries and i had to go to the restroom so i parked my cart outside the restroom and when i came back my cart was gone and unfortunately my groceries list was in it too. so i walked around and saw an employee with my cart and i confronted him and he said "it is my first day here and i was bored and felt like messing with you." and i was like are you serious? and he said to leave him alone. then i went to get a new cart and i was getting my groceries again and out of no where he came back and rammed me with a shopping cart and i grabbed my phone and took off after him and tackled him and put him in a head lock and i'm assuming he then realized that i'm way stronger than him. his face turned really red and then i let go and he came at me again and i tripped him and he fell into the cans of tuna then i noticed he was not an employee and there was a camera man fliming the entire fight. i then charged the camera man and snatched him Canon camera and threw it at the kid that attacked me and the camera smashed into his throats and broke on the floor and the camera man attacked me again and he was really weak then i noticed an employee of sams on their phone taking a video of all this oblivious to the fact that it was a real fight. once i finished fighting those kids that attacked me i walked over to the boy that as fliming it and i asked him why he was videotaping and his face got all red and he started studdering, then he said "i'm sorry sir, i have to go" then after that i got all my groceries and checked out and went over to the food area and ordered my pizza and i got my cold pizza and i asked to see the manager about my horrible experience and they said the manager is currently unavailable and i called bull on that. then i left and the camera guy and other guy was following me. then i was walking out to my Ram 3500 turbo diesel and i saw full pizza smeared all over my wind shield so i put my groceries away. so i started up my truck and noticed the pranksters in their ford pinto with all the windows down and i pulled up next to them and floored it and all the black diesel smoke surrounded their car and go it the car thankfully. they never followed me again. highly...
