Last night, 12/26/16, we had a party of nine people at the trail boss burgers in the Stockyards. We had all ordered our food and while it took a while to come out, (over 1.5 hours for some burgers on a night when well over half the tables were empty), we had no problem. Until the food came out. Only 5 of the nine ordered dishes were brought. My son's sandwich came with tomato when he had asked for no tomato. But that's only part of the issue. The rest of the order came out 10 minutes later and my Husband's order was completely wrong.
What had happened was my husband's order came out completely wrong. When he spoke to the server, she had said she had to get the manager.
The manager then said we would have to pay for both orders if we wanted to have the correct order brought out, the one my husband had originally ordered, AND the replacement. When we explained what had happened, he said that there was nothing he could do but charge us for an additional meal. Not even apologetic. Just stated that's that the only thing he would do.
This was a gathering of family and friends from out of town, and while we did get upset, your manager did nothing in the way to help us out or calm us. All he kept doing was repeating that there was nothing he could do and we would need to pay for an additional meal. I certainly hope this is not how you are training your managers.
I was really disappointed to learn that this establishement was owned and operated by Riscky's.
All of the members of our party have worked in the food service industry at one point in our lives. And we had never treated customers so poorly or disrespectfully. Never in all of our years eating in restaurants have any of us ever experienced a meal being brought out wrong, then being told the only way to correct the situation is to be charged for another meal!
I had told our out of town guests how wonderful Risckey's establishments are. Because of this treatment, we will no longer be going to any Riscky's establishment ever again. We will also be telling everyone who asks about...
Read moreI can't give 0 stars so... Went here to eat today was excited been wanting to try this place. Unfortunately my experience was not a good one, I ordered a burger and when I got it it looked amazing then I bit into it I was about three bites in (a little less than a quarter of the burger)I found pink told the waitress who was great that my burger was pink she said I'll take care of it went to talk to the manager Stacy I believe and was told that's a good burger medium well which it was not, medium rare yes. And was told there was nothing wrong with it and she would give me half off the 12.99 burger that I barely touched then when I got my bill it was over $10 my math may be Rusty but half of 12.99 would be about 6.5 so my drink must have been 4 or so. She was rude! And basically forced me to pay for something I didn't even eat. Instead of saying oh well that's how we make them but I can cook yours more she made me the bad guy I told her all ground beef(burgers) should be well done well I was wrong there too even though most all experts say that when beef is found it grinds bacteria into the meat which is why it is recommended to cook well it's not like a steak as she said to me also I hope that 10$ was worth it. Retraining on customer service might be a good idea. I understand some people like their burgers that way but I don't instead of telling me what I should like just make me a burger the way I like it or don't charge me for it. You will pay for any food ordered right wrong don't eat it because it's raw you will still pay.
And now an update I rarely call corporate but in this case I did and they delivered! She said yes and wanted me as a customer to be happy and offered to take care of it and she did I will be going back to give them another chance...
Read moreVisited today 6/16 with my husband and children. We were seated by a host and given menus. After sitting for 10 minutes not a single person came up and even asked us what we wanted to drink. There were very few people in the restraunt at this time, most of the staff were gathered around wrestling, playing, and having conversations that weren’t appropriate for a family. After not being acknowledged by anyone we decided to get up and leave, as we walked out the door i told the host standing outside that not a single employee even acknowledged us inside and we were taking our business elsewhere. The host proceeded to stare at us, when my husband said “wow you have nothing to say” he continued to stare at us and of the several employees that were standing outside not a single person had anything to say to us. I have never experienced such awful customer service in my life. The fact that we were ignored inside the restraunt and still ignored when we were leaving due to no service is appalling. My husband just wanted to have a nice lunch for Fathers Day and instead we were treated extremely poorly by EVERY employee. Absolutely ridiculous. We went across the street and ate Risckys Barbeque instead and were treated awesome! My husband and I had to speak with management in Risckys about our experience at Trailboss due to the fact that not a single employee of Trailboss was willing to even acknowledge that we were...
