This location is always a problem. In the past the daytime manager has been of little help. She had no idea how to help me navigate the app or be of any use to me. She blatantly told me the scanner at the register did not work and I had to place and pay for the order online if I wanted to use a coupon. She said the online coupons had to be used online and the employees are not trained to navigate the app.
Yesterday 06/20/2024 between 9:43 pm - 9:54 pm I had place two separate orders. I received my first order which I didn't check until I got home. My second order I watched as a black male in maybe his twenties stared star struck at a monitor and back at food repeatedly until he finally placed some things in a bag and handed it away to a customer. I had a feeling he didn't do it correctly so, I approached the counter to be ready to get my order. The first thing out of his mouth was that the dining room was closed. I stated I had already placed my order and was just waiting to get it. He looked around, grabbed two things and handed a bag to me. I immediately opened one of the two items and saw that it was not what I ordered. He was still in view of me (to the right of the register) and I said this wasn't what I ordered. He brushed me off saying that I needed to go to the far left of the counter closest to the drive thru and tell them. He then walked off and disappeared.
Another employee, possibly the cook was speaking low as he passed in front of me and asked a different employee if they knew me. He mentioned I had been in there for 20 minutes and wanted to know what I was doing. I heard all of this and I replied that I had been waiting for a 2nd order and the younger black male employee gave me the wrong order. They looked at my online receipt, took the wrong burger and began to correct the problem. When the black male employee resurfaced I pointed him out to the guy asking why I was still in the dining area. When I said that was the person handing out wrong orders, he muttered, I'm sure he was and then walked towards the back. Eventually I received my order, checked it and left.
Back to my first order which I should've checked as soon as I saw my 2nd order was wrong. I ordered a regular burger with NO MAYO, EXTRA PICKLES, lettuce and tomato. When I arrived home there were four pickles (not what I consider extra) and mayo in the crevices of the lettuce and the burger. Like they FAILED TO READ THE ORDER PRIOR TO MAKING IT. THEN ATTEMPTED TO WIPE IT OFF UNSUCCESSFULLY.
This makes me so angry. I place my orders with specific instructions. The employees don't give a rats arse if they do it right or if they correct it and apologize. They have no consideration for the customers who pay the inflated prices that pay their wages. There is no pride in their work. They are shameless and honestly shouldn't be working in any food service jobs. People who give wrong orders out should be fired. I'm sure that isn't the first time and incompetence should be released. The only thing that keeping someone like him at this location does is ensure there will be more complaints about his attitude, his inability to bag orders correctly and his lack of customer service when he was told an order was wrong and he brushed it off onto different employees.
Shameful, that guy needs to be fired. That whole crew needs better leadership and that location as a whole needs an overhaul. There are people who can do better who need and want a job. Let the incompetent people go and get people who are competent in. It would speak volumes to get managers who are cross trained with the app and in the positions also. That way they can help the customer navigate the app and orders can be made and distributed correctly.

Read moreZERO STARS!!I went through the drive through but my order was a little complicated so I decided to go in. When I came in I can see the shift manager telling the front counter crew member, “there she go” the girl at the front proceeds to turn around and laugh dead in my face. In no way was I rude in the drive through. I ordered my food but this place was out of everything. She said we’re out of medium cups so we’ll have to up-charge for a large. Why not just accommodate us. I asked for chili and they were out of chili lids so she gave me a coffee cup, I was okay with that. Considering my order HAD to be large. I ask for sour cream she only gave me one and said she had to charge me for the other one, why?? Large chili comes with 2 sour creams. On top of that I was forced to eat my chili with a fork because they were out of spoons. The customer after us ordered ice cream for here, instead of proper customer services and saying hey we don’t have spoons, how about we give you the Sundays before you leave. Nope they ate there across from us with forks. The lobby was dirty, floors and tables, the women bathroom seemed locked the whole time. I was forced to wash my hands in the men’s room which had no paper towel. There weren’t any clean trays for the customers dining in. If I could give zero stars I would. I worked at Wendy’s over ten years ago and in NO way would my front look the way it did. Huge wet spot NO WET sign. I felt very uncomfortable because everytime I went to the front for a condiment, there were smart remarks. Why not have ketchup, mayo, and mustered stocked where customers can easily access them. People don’t work how they used to. As we all know fast food can be VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. the only reason I didn’t address it because their were older people there! Although my dinner was ruined I didn’t want to ruin the atmosphere. Gm should order properly considering this location has huge radius to serve. This was a...
Read moreI used to eat at the Southlake Wendy's a couple of times a week on my way to work. I love those guys. The manager Paul is excellent. I've even given $20 tips to several different employees.
I recently moved to Arlington, and I've tried this Wendy's on Eastchase twice, and I have had poor experiences both times.
The first time I came in, yesterday, I ordered an asiago ranch chicken club meal with fries and a drink. When you order a meal with fries through the app, it gives you the option to add on a dipping sauce with it. I ordered ranch. There is no option to specifically order dipping sauces through the app outside of this add-on to the fries.
They not give me ranch, and I had to order it separately and pay for it. Which I did. Fine. But they only gave me the ranch that I paid for, and not the ranch that I ordered with my meal.
I put in a survey explaining the issue, and today I decided to give them another shot.
I placed an order through the app, and then I pulled up to the speaker. I told them I was picking up my order, and that I also wanted to order extra ranch. She charged me for it, and I paid for it. Fine.
I pulled up to the pickup window, and a woman who I assume is the manager asked me if I placed a survey yesterday. I said "I sure did!"
She said "Ranch doesn't come with the meals."
I said "Then why does it specifically ask if I want any dipping sauce?"
She said "I don't know. We don't have any control over the app."
Ma'am, it literally says ranch on my receipt (photo attached).
Looks like my Wendy's eating days are over. I used to be maybe the best customer that the Southlake location ever had. Oh well! I'll find someone else to give...
