I am partial to The Dunk when the only other option is *tarbux. Full disclosure, I was in town for a tournament so I only stopped by this location twice. I first time was in the afternoon. The place was quiet and clean. I had a pleasant exchange with the woman behind the counter. I also brought in my own travel coffee mug to fill up. If I could describe the transaction as a donut: old-fashioned to cruller--it was an old-fashioned (which I like)--non-fussy in a good way.
The following late morning, I bring in the same travel coffee mug. I wait patiently at the counter since the staff seemed busy with drive thru orders. Eventually the woman behind the counter calls to the woman sweeping the floor to assist me. This time I was told they could not fill my travel mug; I had to get my coffee in one of their cups. I stood there looking for a posting of this policy--which I could not find, but noticed all the refillable cups right next to the registers. Seems like an odd policy... so I waited for my non-fussy black coffee in a to-go cup. In the meantime, a couple of specialty coffee orders made after me had come and gone when the barista asked for my order again.

I understand making change can be annoying sometimes, but money is money. When I handed her the bill she rolled her eyes and said "We won't accept that here" I told her it was the only thing I had to pay with and asked if there was a manager that could check the bill for her and make the change and all she kept saying is "we won't accept it, it's against company policy". I asked her if she could save my order while I went and got change and she rolled her eyes at me and said "sure". When I went back with a smaller bill she was still super rude. She never once apologized for the inconvenience or thanked me for coming back and that's just bad customer service. When she handed me my food I said "thank you" and her response was "yeah take care".
I get that it was an annoying situation but I was the one inconvenienced and I wasn't rude, she could have at least told me to have a nice day when I...
