Do not order venti drinks from this store as they do not have large straws for them and the smaller straws aren’t even big enough for venti drinks. Not only that the employees lie and say there is a “National shortage” or a “shortage” on them and there is not. Not only have I verified this info with many stores in Colorado Springs that have large straws, but after today’s visit and them again lying about the large straws I called Starbucks customer service to verify, and was told there is no shortage. Things I think... -Is there a problem with who ever does the ordering? -Is the manager just trying to save some money (but at the customers expense and ultimate overall experience)? -And if someone is so cheaply trying to save some money, what other corners are being cut? If they are lying about straws what else are they lying about? -Can you imagine working for a company/ store where you have to lie to the customers about straws? -What sense does it make to sell venti drinks and not provide straws that FIT THE ENTIRE CUP?! This has also not been a one time occurrence but an ongoing issue... and has happened multiple times in the past month.

Good coffee can make or break the day! Unfortunately, this Starbucks has fallen well below, sub par in comparison. To the owners:The machines are old and produce burnt espresso nearly every time (yes, I am a Starbucks’s junkie and taste the difference immediately). I understand they are expensive machines, but desperately need to be replaced. As does the staff. 🙁 Obviously they are all WAY too burnt out to provide decent customer service anymore. The drive-through line is always wrapped around the building, making the property inaccessible and unsafe. You are unable to effectively support the flow of business at this location. Please help them fix this!

The service is overall great and the baristas are nice but the quality of the coffee is a hit-or-miss depending on who’s working and the time of day you order. About 7/10 times, they’d either mess up my order or it’s just make badly overall (i.e., making the frappes liquified to the point they’re essentially just iced coffee with melted ice) 🥲 I still continue to come here because it’s the closest Starbucks to where I need to be half the time and mostly because the people are pretty nice despite the iffy product quality 😅 the convenience factor is a strong pull.

I had two separate incidents with a Manager, named Chris, he treated me SO incredibly bad, that when I called Starbucks Headquarters, told them about the first incident (in detail0) and they compensated me for the etremely poor customer service. The second time was even worse...I ordered whst I always order, and this is what he did:

  1. made my drink the incorrect way... (and he blamed the barista who took my order), as I stated, he made the drink wrong, and blamed the gentleman who took my order, and he read it back to me...SO I KNOW that was a lie from Chris. The 2nd time he was working on my drink (and was talking the whole time to some girl who he was way more attentive to her, than making my drink...he messed up making it, lost a hold on it, and when it fell, due to his paying more attention to the girl, than my drink, while he dropped it, he lost his temper, and kicked the cup as hard as he could. And, the third time, I believe he was now irritated (but, it shouldn't be at myself)...as I was polite, and patient. So, the third time he attempted my drink he poured 90% cream and a splash of the coffee...I have pictures, sent them to HQ. I have NEVER had such incredibly horrible service AND, such incredible and horrible customer service!

So, after going back in the store, I explained everything to Rianne (I think I am spelling her name incorrectly)(Ryan...((The Store Manager), Laura, and Heidi. All three were INCREDIBLY kind, professional, caring, and very SORRY...(in which I told them, they had NOTHING to be sorry for). Ryan is an amazing manager...and the other girls, mentioned above, are all incredibly caring, and not only did they take care of the situation, they made me feel good about returning to their store!!! Ryan truly restored my faith in Starbucks, and especially my neighborhood! Ryan (and Heidi and Laura) are terrific examples of how baristas, and Managers should treat customers. Ryan was so amazing, I feel as though she should be the example in which other Manager's and Staff should strive to be. And, honestly, I feel like Ryan is an asset to Starbucks! Thank you SO SO MUCH for restoring my faith, Ladies... You are...

My daughter and I went trough the drive through this evening and the female working the station gave my daughter’s drink to the person in front of us, they took it in the car and then returned it, when we pulled up she handed me that same drink she misdelivered to the customer in front of us, so I refused it and asked her to nake another one because we watched her handing it over and they taking it in the car, she replied that that was another drink and she already remade it, ( mind we were next in line and there was only that one specific drink , a vanilla bean frappuchino , venti). I clearly new she was lying and asked her to make another one because I wasn’t giving my daughter a drink someone else had taken in their vehicle and returned, after she went and got it remade she handed over to me and I told her she didn’t need to lie to me and I asked for the rest of the order which she handed one item at the time and I had to continue to ask for the missing items, I asked her if she was new and she said no, and as I drove off she said I didn’t beed to be rude . So I stopped and went back to the window and then there was a man named Connor who took over for her and was absolutely rude and condescending with her behavior. I definitely don’t appreciate being lied to, or called names when she is the one who made the mistake and it was fixable but her attitude was not professional neither his. I have the right to refuse an item who I watched being given to someone else and when that happens specially food items need to be remade for safety reasons. Will never go back to this location again. To the new manager your employees are rude and have very poor customer...

It is sad that my favorite Starbucks location has gone down the drain after the whole crew changed out a few short months ago. I long for the days where I was greeted with no attitude, got my order right or didn't have to be stuck in the drive-thru for 10+ min. On top of all those issues, a few weeks ago, I took advantage of the 50% off during happy hour... my order: Veni Latte with Ristretto and Coconut Milk... I guess because it was 50% off that meant the cup needed to be only half full. Since it was the drive-thru and I was in a hurry, I didn't notice right away. The following day going through again, I mentioned to the barista what had happened the day prior... His response: There is more in it this time. COME AGAIN?????? Today, the final straw... I ordered my usual drink except it was iced. Normal price including tax: $5.45 (at this location).. Today: $6.88!!! Oh, I don't think so... Mentioned it to the barista and showed her my purchasing history (thanks to the app), what may have been a manager, was called, some buttons pushed and the price still came out wrong at $5.88. Thank goodness there are other locations in the area. Not quite as convenient but I will be ok with it because I know the service will...
