This used to be my go to for Chinese food in Franklin however over the last 6 months it has really gone down hill. (They are now closed Sundays which is when I typically get Chinese food to watch sports on my day off.) Secondly the food portion sizes have gone down. You get more rice but when you order a bourbon chicken and it's 95% rice and very little chicken then it isn't worth the money. Also for the last 3 trips there is barely any bourbon sauce on the chicken and again you get very little chicken yet a ton of rice.
Then this past week I got a bourbon chicken and noticed it tasted funny when I sat down to eat at home. Thank goodness I had only eaten a few bites because I noticed there was blood in the sauce. The chicken was 75% RAW!!!!
When I called and offered to take a picture and send it to them they said to come back and they would replace it. The lady on the phone (it wasn't the lady who typically has worked at the register and phone for years) was snippy and asked "what do you want"? I said I would like the food replaced but being I live over 20 minutes away could I come back the next day or later in the week? She said "no" and then hung up on me.
Add in that they no longer offer the lunch buffet at all and have cheap trinkets for sale where the buffet used to be I'll just start going to Courtland or suffolk to get...
Read moreIs my favorite Chinese food place to eat at but the man can be very rude & nasty. I wasn't aware that you had to spend 5.00 in food to use a credit card. He fussed me out about my order as if I knew about the credit card limitations, saying you have to buy 5.00 worth in food in order to use my credit card machine. I told him I wasn't aware of that as I'm a long term customer then he said you know now. I responded back to him that he needs to post the credit card limits for future purchases. He started talking in another language then I told him to take off a item so I could pay in cash. He got mad walked off & told his wife. I explain the situation to his wife & she stated that she will make a sign for the limit you must spend for the food. However, I was disappointed in his attitude. It's a business & if they have any policy that a customer needs to be aware of it be said or posted as a sign, if not said politely to keep people...
Read moreThe good: The vegetables and seafood are the highest quality I’ve ever seen in any Asian takeout place EVER.
The bad: Just two items off the menu cost a few cents shy of $30 all together after tax. The egg rolls are mostly bread (instead of a very thin layer of bread with mostly filling like they’re supposed to be). The noodles are very low quality. I asked for “so spicy it’ll hurt me” but everything was so dull and bland a baby would eat it. Other than salt and fat, there are no seasonings or flavor.
Maybe it was an off night; I’ll have to try again another time to confirm. Attached is a photo I took of the menu because I couldn’t find one...
