APOLOGIES FOR THE LONG POST BUT I AIM TO HELP PEOPLE!
Food was decent... I was referred by friends to try this restaurant, so I did. Spent 11 proud dollars and heavily anticipated my lunch break. The meal is suppose to come like a traditional habachi lunch/dinner: mushrooms, zucchini, onions, carrots, and broccoli. Along with the main entree of rice and your meat choice. Today I chose chicken. I received my order and was oddly disappointed to see a skimpy version of the grill experience I am used to. There was no broccoli and very little of everything else.
This is the big part: I called the restaurant and the lady (assuming she is the owner) was passive and kinda rude. She made the missing broccoli seem like it was my fault. She said, "you only get like 2 or 3 pieces of broccoli" But these are like the Walmart Florets not the Farm Fresh produce section broccoli. 🙄 I told her that I feel like I should get what I paid for and her response was, "So what do you want me to do? Cook you 2 to 3 pieces of broccoli!" ( Yes, it is as rude as you think reading this). I told her to please do that. We will see what happens with that situation.
To me, service is key. You should not treat me like I'm the problem when I have just assisted you in paying your bills. You should not scorn me for wanting what I have paid for, nor should you make me take blame for something you have cooked and served. For the price, I might as well had gone to an actual hibachi restaurant, paid 3 more dollars, and received freshly prepared food+ entertainment with zero attitude. To boot all other matters, the chicken was dry. On a positive note, the rice was good. Very buttery and well seasoned. I wish the customer service was just as well prepared... I am not knocking the business, but I feel with no critical feedback, growth stalls out and thus improvement becomes...
Read moreI went to get a late lunch/early dinner about 4pm on a Thursday. First, there is NO EAT IN, only take out, which isn't mentioned in their overview. There was no one there and the phone wasn't ringing, so I was quite surprised when I was told it would take 25 minutes for them to prepare a total of 3 sushi rolls. I went to look around at the sports store and returned at the assigned time to find my order ready. I returned home 5 minutes later to find the rolls I ordered didn't contain the ingredients advertised in the menu. The eel cucumber roll was a petite roll of 6 pieces and was modestly adequate at best. The Spicy Salmon roll listed raw salmon, fish roe and crunch as the ingredients, but the "salmon" was an overcooked white fish and there was neither fish roe, crunch or anything spicy, anywhere in the large 8 piece roll. The Crabapple Roll was also a large 8 piece roll, however the shrimp was overcooked to the point if being rubbery, there was no crab or anything spicy inside. The outside was attractive with the eel and avocado, as described in the menu. These 3 rolls totalled $35.80 with tax. If you decide to order and carry-out from here, I would advise you to avoid the "Sushi Menu".... Perhaps you'll have...
Read moreMy family went there a lot. We all like the food there like salmon hibachi, eel sushi, fried butter fish, and many many more. This is NOT a fast food place. It is a Japanese and Chinese food and other cultures food combined restaurant So you got a lot of food to choose from. The price is very reasonable compare to other Japanese restaurant because this is like going to ma and pop store. You can have a very decent restaurant food and yet you pay lesser than other big Japanese restaurant. People are super friendly! The couples work as fast as they can to pleased and meet the customers' needs. Amazing husband and wife team, you don't see a lot of...
