New York Diner — Restaurant in Franklin

I’ve been a loyal, weekly customer to NY Diner since they first opened. Also, I also bring them business with about 6-7 orders a week. Today, I ordered the exact same thing I’ve always ordered. 6 NY beef sausage, egg & cheese on toast. As alway, I pay for everyone’s order. After paying my worker to pick up our order, upon opening my order, all 6 orders were pork sausage patties. I always say “NY Beef Sausage” at least 3 times every time I call on the phone. I cannot eat pork (never) since almost 50 years ago. Upon discovering all sandwiches were pork sausage, I called & was told I would have to collect all 6 sandwiches, wait 30 minutes & leave work to go back to the diner. Totally unacceptable & unprofessional. They’ve lost a loyal customer forever who’s always paid for all my co-workers meals out of my pocket. Their response shows they had no appreciation for the customers that have always supported their business. I WILL NEVER SPEND MY HARD-EARNED MONEY WITH THEM...

ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE IN Franklin VA !!!!! PLEASE DONT GO!!!! FOOD POISINING AND POOR FOOD AS WELL AS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They where out of EVERYTHING fish,wings, sphaghetti, certain drinks etc. Marinara sauce was so out of date it was fermented and had a very potent expire smell. The food was absolutely horrible it was bland just tasted like plastic or pure salt or expired/rotten. Oh wait there more..... Got the ticket and attempted to be forced to pay for the food that we sent back because it was horrible. Not paying for something that wasn't even eaten. The attitude of the owner especially is beyond unprofessional and disrespectful. Not to mention acting as such in front of small children smh. Oh wait there still more... Then got up to leave and as we are walking out slamming stuff around and throwing a tantrum while mumbling racial and derogatory commentary...

I ordered a 16 inch pizza with pepperoni and green peppers. I asked the manager if it was NY style and answered with “its round” which clearly indicated that she had not had a NY style pizza because it is more than round. Nevertheless, I received the pizza and opened in the car and was utterly surprised that it was thin crust and small although it was in a big box. Anyway, I was hoping it taste better than it looked and it was absolutely awful for the amount of money I paid for it. Shame on this establishment for calling it a NY diner and serve awful pizza. I could have gone to Walmart. I am hoping the rest of the food is better considering the good ratings but doooonnnnt get the pizza. On plus side, the waitress was very helpful and had great...
