Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Frederick

I rarely post reviews and when I do they are almost always positive. Today is an exception. I ordered a meal from my phone in the parking lot. I had my 1 year old Son and Dog with me which was my reason for using my app and ordering curbside. We were on a time crunch. So I selected as soon as possible for meal preparation. As soon as I selected submit I also hit notify to let them know that I was waiting in the parking.This was around 4:15 PM it was visible there were at least four people working in the kitchen. And there was only one customer in the restroom. The app said my order would be ready at 4:28 PM. When 4:35 PM rolled around I have a call into the building. They told me oh yeah oh yeah your order I’ll be up soon. From that time forward I watched four people go in the restaurant leave the restaurant and had three other cars served. My bag was sitting there until 4:50 PM. WhenThe clerk delivered a meal to another car, I asked him if he had an update on my order. He said yet it’s waiting inside. He grabbed the order and brought it out it had been sitting there for over 15 minutes. Then he left and I looked in the bag and half of my order was missing. The main course was there but the bottle of tea dessert we’re missing. At this point I had no choice but to walk into the store. When I did everyone looked at me clueless late and when I asked for the rest of my order they gave me the items. This was a very frustrating situation at a time of day when there wasn’t a lot of business going on and they work more than enough associates to handle...

Noodles and Company excels across the board! I have a very small appetite and they were so kind as to let me order a smaller portion meal. The kindness of their staff was amazing especially since we didn't realize how near their closing time we'd arrived for dining in. They never said a word about it or made us feel rushed, although we hurried when we did notice. (Sorry, team!) The atmosphere and ambiance is lovely by its minimalistic design. The walls glow from the very bright lighting, however, customers are never once blinded by the lights due to the very, very high ceilings. I would've given a good review if the place used to be how it was. Everything used to be delicious and I couldn't complain. However this time, our noodles we're nowhere near al dente, instead, they were rubbery as hell. Second, the food came out wrong 2 of our orders and all the orders did not come out at the same time. Third, when the first 2 of our orders came out wrong without our meatballs, they flat out told us: "Oh yeah, we didn't have meatballs for 4 months". Excuse me?
