This little family run ice cream parlor makes every flavor of ice cream in-house, using locally sourced milk and cream from Spring Hill Farms. We are ice cream aficionados and try it wherever we are in the world, and this is some of the best we’ve ever had! The sorbets are delicate and creamy with truly unique flavors, and the main ice cream choices are out of this world! There aren't enough positive adjectives in the world to describe the joy and satisfaction you will get if you come here and treat yourself to their ice cream! When I visitors Sandy's Scoops, it had only just opened 24 hours prior, yet already it had a decent amount of foot traffic, which is nice to see.

I ordered their Chocolate with Wild Berry Cheesecake in a waffle cone. My wife tried the vegan version of Sandy's Mint Chocolate Flake.

My chocolate was reasonable, but I really liked the berry cheesecake flavor. I would have appreciated a larger cone and a larger portion for the money, but at least I enjoyed it. We were less sold on the vegan Mint Chocolate Flake. The consistency was very good, and the "chocolate" solid, but the ice cream itself tasted too much like a mint leaf from the plant rather than the flavor one associates with "mint". Maybe just too legit, for me.

Sandy’s Scoops is a great little ice cream shop in Frenchtown, NJ. The location is small but has an array of flavors that was a perfect selection. Flavors include Spring Run Farm Chocolate milk ice cream and Banana Caramel Biscoff - which I had and it was excellent. The ice cream tasted fresh and home made.
