Did an online order so I did not have to wait there as I have small children. It said 20 min wait . I waited 30 min before showing up . Upon arrival I let them know I did an online order and it said the food was ready . I was told “2 min “ . I then had to wait another 10 min before saying something as they continued to keep taking orders , and it was visible that some orders were bagged and ready to go . I asked the man next to me how long he had been waiting and he said about 15 min and that all the other people there had got there after him and he was the only one there upon arrival , letting me know my order was ideally first since it was already nearing 40 min since I ordered and paid . He gives the man his order who ordered a family meal . Which is a lot more than I ordered I only ordered 2 wraps and fries . . After taking the next 6 orders then he tells me my food is ready . Im already irritated so I leave and on my drive home I go into the bag to snack on fries and they are cold and stale as if made earlier in the day and sat out . This was definitely not worth the 40-45 min wait nor the 30$ I spent . The customer service was horrible. I’m very understanding as I have worked the food industry before but the whole taking everyone orders when u have food ready as those should go to the paying customer first , was not professional. I don’t believe I will be back . Definitely do not recommend doing a online order . I had high hopes with the wonderful reviews but I definitely give this a...
Read moreO.M.G. Drove to Fresno for Fresno High School reunion (65th!) Fresno Kebab a short walk from our Marriott. We expected a restaurant, but it's a hybrid food-truck/outdoor cafe, in a strip-mall parking lot. We felt adventurous and went for it.
We couldn't have made a better choice!
Cook/proprietor (didn’t get his name, sorry) was very friendly, likeable and informative about the menu. Egyptian/Mediterranean cuisine.
Husband got beef kebab wrap. I asked for a recommendation and got (as recommended) a chicken shawarma wrap with fries and drink.
We both LOVED our food.
The fries, unexpectedly, were quite tasty and slightly limp, which to me was a plus, not a demerit.
We did take-out, and the fries were boxed with the hot wraps for ~20 minutes before we opened them up to eat. Maybe this softened them, or maybe not.
Either way, though I'm not a big fries person, I ate EVERY SCRAP of mine.
The wraps were really exceptional. Flavorful, plentiful, tender meats and lots of wonderfully-flavored mild sauce (maybe yoghurt-based?) in them. Wraps were grilled, so their "skins" were slightly crisp but not at all tough. Just right.
The resulting wraps were substantial and not dry at all (deliciously juicy, in fact); very savory and slightly sloppy IN THE VERY BEST WAY!
Price decent, and we hope this modest-but-earnest enterprise prospers, 'cause he really was a great host, as well as being the chef producing these succulent foods.
We'd go back in a heartbeat. Try...
Read moreThis was the first time I ordered from this type of cuisine and food truck. And dare I say the first impressions were excellent. The tray I received (chicken kabob plate) when I opened looked neat and professional. For its price of about $13 before taxes, the value is worth the experience. Everything about the dish had decent portion amounts, the meat was seasoned and cooked just right, even the side salad was something I wasn't looking forward to eating turned out to be delicious. I felt very welcoming. Even the person serving my order was showing good hospitality for my order, I was given fork and spoon cutlery, a side cup of sour cream, and even a wrap I didn't ask for that made the experience even more amazing. For what it's worth, I give this first time experience in eating Mediterranean cuisine a firm...
