Ordered in the app at 07:29. Stated it would be completed at 07:38. Got there at 7:39, the app updated to 7:40 completion. Went up to the customerless counter and didnât get assistance for a couple of minutes. When someone came up, we thought the Wendyâs employee was getting his pickup, but he instead asked for food. (Not ordered, oddly enough. Are they sister companies?) followed by a KFC employee finally attending to our needs. The following are the events as they unfold: [ ] They told us it up be an additional 5 minutes due the strips to be made fresh. [ ] After 8 minutes, they came back to let us know that the strips are still frozen. Are we okay with nuggets? We looked at each other disappointed. He then said they use the same batter. [ ] It took an additional 7 minutes to get our order. [ ] All the while some employee from Wendyâs kept coming up for free food, was being really awkward about it, interrupted our mobile pick up, which we wished was JUST a pickup. [ ] They forgot the Comeback dipping sauce. (My review back in 2013 states this issue of not giving ordered sauces as well. First time forgetting the sauces, shame on them. Second time without us double-checking their work [and not earning a paycheck from them] shame on us. [ ] No napkins provide. [ ] No plasticware provided. [ ] The 4 piece leg and thigh meal turned into 2 legs, a breast, and a wing. Dark meat requested, mixed bag without consenting provided. So much for my preference for dark meat. [ ] All of the chicken pieces were soggy. [ ] The nuggets were lukewarm even though âmade freshâ. [ ] They forgot our drink for the kids meal. [ ] 3 nuggets is NOT equivalent to two strips. We travelled this distance bypassing other fast food joints because we wanted their competition but wouldnât drive to Fresno State University to get it. Now we understand the excursion for 5 additional miles (round trip) wouldâve been worth it. The disgruntled looks by the other seated guests shouldâve given us an indication of what was already going down, but we ordered via app. So all I ask is to incorporate that as a feature next time. A button that shows us real-time, live video of their restaurant so that we can Nope out of ordering from them quick.
But with all seriousness, not meeting the minimum expectations set by their franchise owner is always a call for concern. It brings to question what OTHER violations they may be...

Had to ask that she give me a new order but she just changed the bag. Checked the order and not only were the fries not hot, but the chicken strips were well beyond their sell time. Went inside and showed the manager on duty the old food while the drive thru person told me it would be 5-10 minutes for fresh food. Ok fine - I'll wait. Then watched the manager get fresh strips from the warming holder and asked why was I told a 5-10 min wait when there were fresh ones available??? No answer. Also asked why give out a poor product when AGAIN - the warmer had fresher product??? No answer, just a "sorry." Lies and poor customer service, guess who's calling the main office on the next...
   Read moreI ordered a 12 piece chicken strip meal and got chicken jerky. I got small overcooked old and rubbery chicken tenders that I wouldnât even feed to my dog! They were disappointing to say the least. And the French fries were old and tasted as if they were cooked in dirty oil. I usually never go to this location for exactly this reason. Unfortunately, I was in the area getting food for the rest of my family and since Iâve been sick, the only thing that sounded good to eat was chicken strips. Boy was that a mistake An expensive one at that $50 for inedible food! I wish I could post pictures of exactly how disgusting and disappointing this food was. And I went through the drive thru at 5:30-6pm on Memorial Day so there were no cars in the drive thru or out front. Thereâs just no reason this food should...
