I have never in my entire life had a dry Burger. I don't know if it was because it was lunch hour and they were short-staffed or something but I had a terrible experience. I passed by this place for years wondering about it and finally decided to give it a try. I went there with some friends around 12:15 this past Thursday.. it took about 10 minutes for us to get served because there was only one person that with many of the cash register, answering the phone, and taking people their orders. When it was finally time for me to place my order, midway in, the cashier left to assist someone else. As I'm waiting, I noticed that the hamburger buns were on the grill for a while and I've never seen hamburger buns on a grill for that long but I thought nothing of it. When I finally came back, I ordered the burger with blue cheese and bacon and the works I also asked for extra mayonnaise and curly fries. It didn't take too long for my order to get complete but when I got it I bit into it couldn't figure out what was off about it and then I realized that the Buns were tough and the meat was dry , didn't know it was possible . The fries were delicious. Overall the people were nice and I know it appeared that they were short staffed but it doesn't feel good when you pay over $15 for a burger and fries only for it's not taste as good, with limited time for a lunch there's not a lot of time to complain and wait for a new order...
Read moreI’ve always said, the food will depend on the customer service. Today I called in for an order and they asked for my name I said, “Karina.” I understand, over the phone it’s complicated to understand what is being said most of the time. I went to the restaurant to pick up my food and they said, order for selina? I said Karina, yes. She said sorry about that which I was thankful for her apology. Again she said Selina. I corrected her again but this time I said Karina, with the K. She apologized. Anyways, she proceeded and told me to go ahead and get in line. I was the nect one and the cashier had acknowledged me. However, 3 more guest came in and somehow they got in front of me. Although the cashier had seen me as the next person, she went ahead and helped the other 3 guests first. All 3 guest came in separate. So there I was just going to pay for my food and I would be out on my way. Instead I had to wait for 3 others who got in front. When it was my thrn, the cashier said, “alright selina it wil be (the amount) . I was disappointed and felt out of it since she knew I was next but yet allowed the other guest to get in front. I know many people won’t call this bad customer service but I sure considered it bad...
Read moreTwo words....Salmon Burger!!!! Our little secret that we share with anyone that loves salmon. It's the real deal, a filet grilled beautifully with a special sauce on a bun with crunchy lettuce and dill pickles and your choice of fries. I know of no place else that serves a real salmon filet (not a pressed patty) in the San Joaquin Valley that is so simplistic and under stated yet so mouth watering and amazing.
Last time we were in the Blackstone & Herndon grill I noticed a brand new food truck with the grills name on it parked in back. So we went into the grill and of course I had to ask about the big beautiful black Colorado Grill Truck. This was its maiden voyage and we are very happy and excited to "Congratulate Colorado Grill" on this newest venture. Then ... we ordered our usual mouth watering delicious Salmon Burgers!!!! They are good and screamin' hot off the grill!!!
Congratulations Colorado Grill and shout out to one of the friendliest places in Fresno, your employees are really nice and you can tell they love their jobs!
