Very pleasantly surprised with this place. I found it by looking on google maps for a place that served pizza and salads. Overall, the restaurant is in a great location and is very clean and well designed on the inside. Plenty of seating for both individuals for a quick lunch and families who want a table. The menu has plenty of variety although I wish they offered menu cards as the kids menu was nowhere to be found on the wall-mounted menu boards and I could see the singlular posting of the menu as being a problem when this place gets busy. I loved the little condiments table. Quite a variety there too of hot sauces, normal condiments, and more peculiar things like roasted garlic and capers. Drink options were a bit scarce in regards to soda, but the tea options were great - raspberry, unsweet, sugared, and splenda-sweetened. The food was prepared fresh and fast. We ordered the chicken salad salad bowl, meat pizza, kids pizza, and kids macaroni. Pizza wasn't the best I've had - needed more spice in the sauce and they need to rethink their dough recipe to make it either crispy for flat pizza or more doughy and soft for pan pizza. The crust was awkwardly in the middle of those two options and so excelled at neither and also was not super tasty. My pizza did have fresh tomatoes which were very enjoyable. The kid's macaroni looked delicious and the chicken salad bowl was massive! The sturdy take-home drink cups were also a bonus. They had a nice little patio, too, which I could see myself enjoying if it wasn't a heat index of 110 at the time I went. A very pleasant experience overall. I will be going back. This was my first time to this location. I was pleasantly surprised...good surprise when I found out that all kid's meals are.99 on Saturday and Sunday. Great atmosphere. Cashier was very pleasant and took an interest in my son which was sweet as a mom. Most do not have to do that. Great service and food delivered to the table in under 7 minutes. Food was excellent. My only recommendations would be to incorporate a cleaning schedule of the lobby area. The round booth we sat in was dirty with food and crumbs in the wedge of the seat. My little one kept trying to put his fingers in between. The only reason I know of this is because I have one 9 years of restaurant experience and this was on my staff's deep cleaning checklist. Overall it was a great experience and my niece loves this place. Will be back.

Visited Newk's Frisco on Saturday evening at 6:15. Noticed five occupied tables when we entered, so they were not busy. Cashier did not acknowledge us and yawned twice while we were ordering. Condiment table was covered with spilled pickles, croutons, cheese. Beverage counter was covered with spilled soda and tea. Counted 11 dirty tables. Our table provided a view of the kitchen. Saw the three kitchen staff kidding around while my sandwich was sitting waiting to be finished and served. The prep counters were covered in food morsels. When the manager delivered our food, I commented on the dirty front and he said they were just slammed yet every employee I saw was moving in slow motion instead of working to get the restaurant in a presentable condition. We will not be back - eating in a dirty restaurant is not appealing. There are plenty of other restaurant...
