Not worth such a high price! I was going to be in the area on a last minute trip and wanted to schedule a surprise couples massage for my wife and I so I called on a Friday (3/21/25) morning to schedule. While on the phone the person said they needed phone # and e-mail for us both to create our profiles. Before I gave the information, I reminded the person this was a SURPRISE, and she reassured me the information was only to create the profile and no text or e-mail would be sent to my wife; only to me. Maybe 15 minutes after getting off the phone with this location my wife sent me a screen shot of the text message they sent her and asked if she should confirm. Needless to say I was irritated as this is the complete opposite of what they said. I called them back to complain and asked for options to make this situation better now that the surprise is ruined. The voice when I called back sounded exactly like the person I spoke to the first but she played it off as it must have been someone else I spoke to and that the system sometimes automatically sends communication out. This was obviously already known and they did not care. She mentioned that now she can send remove the phone# and e-mail and also said she can send an e-mail to the manager at the Frisco location to see what they can do to help the situation. I also asked her if a text could be sent to my wife stating the first one was sent in error (me hoping to save the surprise). She said she could send a manual text and that she would do that. Jokes on me though because did not do that. This second call made it seem like calls for all hiatus locations go to one location. A person name Paige eventually called me back but I was not able to answer at the time. Her voicemail stated that she was told I wanted to talk to her and to call her back at the number she called from. No other information on the VM to even suggest she was aware of the situation. To my surprise that is the SAME number I called!!! The number doesn't go to a call center and the person I spoke to the first 2 times LIED hoping to save face. I was busy Friday and Saturday so I didn't call back, but assumed there would be notes on my profile at least from the manager so the situation could be addressed when we showed up on Sunday. Of course I was wrong because no one said a word. I decided not to say anything because I didn't want to ruin the massage for my wife and waited until the end when it was time to pay. We go back, get changed and go to the waiting room. The lady that is supposed to massage my wife eventually comes with 2 glasses of champagne and appologized that her previous client ran over, but she will come get us in 5 minutes. For the high cost ($150 per person) of this place wine/champagne should be a part of the massage and not because your running behind. As for running behind, that is understandable and I get it, no big deal. Where it becomes a big deal, is when I hear the lady tell my wife that her next client is there and she has to go. That is very unprofessional, lessened the relaxation and left us feeling cheated on our massage. After we got dressed and went back to the front this would have been another opportunity for them to address the surprise issue but they did not so I brought it up. the lady at the counter sort of laughed it off said sorry and told me the price. I guess beause they are located next to the Star they feel they can charge a high price for crappy service. Considering I can go to other spas in the metroplex for half the price, better customer service, and wine is standard; highly doubt I will ever come back here.
TL/DR: They ruined the surprise, customer service is horrible, and massage ruined by ending. There is other spas in the metroplex that are better all around at...

As a long-standing client of Hiatus Spa, I am disheartened to share my recent experiences, which have been nothing short of exasperating. Initially, my issue revolved around the spa's mishandling of my pre-purchased massage credits. Despite assurances that my 11 massage sessions would be honored, Hiatus Spa unilaterally converted these into a cash balance, significantly devaluing my initial investment. Despite numerous communications, this matter was not resolved to my satisfaction.
The situation escalated further when I scheduled massages for myself and three guests, only to discover that these appointments were inexplicably canceled without my knowledge or consent. This occurred despite explicit communications with the Frisco spa's management. This not only caused significant inconvenience but also showcased a worrying lack of professionalism and regard for customer service.
The cumulative impact of these experiences has eroded my trust in Hiatus Spa. The disregard for customer agreements, coupled with poor communication and unprofessional management, paints a concerning picture. I had hoped for a resolution that would reflect the spa's commitment to its clients, but unfortunately, this has not been the case.
I write this review as a caution to potential customers. The service and management I have encountered fall far below the standards one would expect from a reputed establishment. It is with regret that I must advise against purchasing a membership or expecting reliable service from Hiatus Spa.
Addendum to My Previous Review:
I would like to provide an update following my recent review of Hiatus Spa. After escalating my concerns to the owner and upper management, specifically Carly, I received a response within four days. I am pleased to report that they promptly addressed and provided a resolution to my issues, which I greatly appreciate.
While the initial process was fraught with challenges and less than satisfactory experiences, it is important to acknowledge that the upper management eventually took the necessary steps to rectify the situation. I am currently awaiting the implementation of the promised resolution.
This turn of events has been a positive development, and I am hopeful for a satisfactory conclusion to this ordeal. It’s reassuring to see that, despite the initial difficulties, Hiatus Spa is committed to resolving customer concerns, albeit the process could have been smoother.
In light of this, I would like to express my gratitude for their efforts in making things right, demonstrating a commitment to customer...
Read moreMy girlfriends and I booked appointments here for a nice, relaxing girl’s day. I get massages at least once a month and have experienced everything from high-end spas to the $70/90 min foot spas. I had been to the Hiatus location in Plano a long time ago, but I remember it being very nice and having a large bathroom and waiting area. I expected for the Frisco location to be even nicer, especially because it was new and because of the location. Unfortunately, it’s probably as nice as a massage envy. The bathroom was small and I didn’t even get to enjoy the small waiting area. Upon arrival, I had to register on an iPad and there was no seating or anywhere to just relax and complete the form. Also, there was only one iPad and we had to wait for each person to complete the form. When we were taken to the bathroom, they didn’t have a locker, robes or shoes ready for us. At a spa I go to regularly, they always have these things ready. We were told to choose any locker and handed our shoes from a basket. The employee told us she was going to get our robes so we waited for her. After she didn’t come back for a few minutes, we went to check and another employee told us the robes were on a shelf and we were just to take one off the shelf. So, the welcome service was extremely underwhelming. We were also asked to complete a piece of paper that had us choose what type of pressure we wanted. Light, medium and firm were the options and nowhere did it say that firm pressure would result in an up-charge. I didn’t expect firm to equal deep tissue either. My overall massage was fine and my masseuse was good, but halfway through my service the music turned off and stayed off for the remainder of my service. It was extremely awkward and hard to relax. The masseuse said it happens often and that they have no way to control it. It’s unfortunate that management doesn’t care enough to fix the problem. The rooms were also very modern and it just didn’t feel very cozy or warm. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back. The place is absolutely not worth the price of the services and there are so many other places in the area I would recommend before I would ever...
