I went to Olive Garden to celebrate my wife's birthday and the overall experience was very good. The food was spectacular; I tried several dishes, including the Five Cheese Ziti and the Steak Gorgonzola. The dessert, a strawberry shortcake, It was a courtesy for my wife's birthday was also excellent
What really stood out was the service. Our waiter, Dominic, was incredibly professional and kind. He suggested dishes with great knowledge, recommended the dessert, and attended us with courtesy and discretion throughout the evening. Dominic's service was truly wonderful.
However, there was an issue when we arrived that affected the start of our experience. A staff member who appeared to be the manager—wearing a red shirt and a name tag that said “ALE”—was quite rude. When we were shown to a table, my wife wanted to check the dining room to choose a different option, since the table offered was very close to the bar and we were looking for something more family-friendly. As she tried to look, the employee invaded our personal space in the middle of the hallway, stopped us in front of all the guests, and loudly and angrily said: “You need to wait until I take you to the table.” This made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially on such a special day.
I was very impressed by the kindness of all the other staff members—except for ALE, whose behavior ruined what could have been a perfect experience. She's the kind of employee who, when given a bit of authority, acts like she owns the place and treats people with an air of superiority, as if she's doing you in favor instead of providing a service.
I give 5 stars to the restaurant and to staff members like Dominic, but only 0 star to the employee ALE. I sincerely hope management takes note of this kind of behavior, because if I return and see that she is still working and treating customers this way, I won't hesitate to leave...
Read moreDanny is super funny and makes silly jokes. He is really nice and happy all the time. He makes people laugh and smile and he talks to everybody so sweet. I like Danny a lot because he’s fun like a cartoon.
Braiden is still the best, but Danny is really good too. He helps and plays nice and makes people feel good. I like Danny so much!
OMG, you guys have to know about Braiden! 🙌 He's legit the best server at Olive Garden in Frisco. I can't even with how personable and charming he is. Every time I go there, he's always on point with his service and I've never had a bad experience. It's like, not just about getting your order right, you know? It's about that vibe and connection, and Braiden just gets it.
No cap, Braiden is also super trustworthy. There was this one time I left my wallet at the table, and he made sure to keep it safe till I came back. That was so clutch! Not everyone would do that. Also, can we talk about how attentive he is? Like, my drink is never empty and he always checks in to make sure everything's good. It's so refreshing to see someone so passionate about their job.
In conclusion, if you're looking for someone who's going to elevate the dining experience to the next level, Braiden is your guy. 10/10 would recommend. He's a total gem and def deserves all the props for his work. #BraidenForTheWin

Read moreThe manager refused serve us and threaten to call police on us. Oliver Garden at 2886 Preston Road Frisco, TX 75034 (referred as OG-A)
We have visited this Oliver-Garden (OG-A) for years and always have had good experience UNTIL Friday August 20, 2021. I and my wife visited this (OG-A) around 10:00 PM Friday August 20, 2021. Not too many people then. The receptionist took us to a booth seat that is very next to a big party of 20+ kids. I went to the manager and asked to switch to a slightly quiet place. The manager is very unfriendly and told other sections are closed. But I pointed to him that we can sit to the nest section and many people are sitting there. So, we sit a new table. But the manager refuses to assign any waitress to us, and we waited for about 10 minutes and could not have a glass of water. I went to the manager again asked why, he said that you must wait as you asked for a new table. Apparently, there are many waitresses who are not busy at that time. We waited for another (about) 5 minutes and decided to leave. On the way out I asked the manager why? Why do not serve us? He said, " You need to go, or I will call police”. We left without having dinner at Oliver Garden and had dinner at Lazy Dog nearby. We are saddened by used to be our favorite place and we are angry by the rude treatment of...
