After seeing all the hype on social media about this place, my friends and I decided to drop by after our escape room. There weren't that many things on the menu besides skewers and some seafood dishes.
You order everything via the QR code printed on the menu, and everyone at the table shares the same cart. I thought you could split it at the end when paying like this other restaurant I frequented, but nope. Food didn't take long to come out, but there were only 3 tables around midnight.
The skewers are cooked in the back, and they put this small heating unit to keep the skewers warm at the table. Since it was a large party, we didn't know which skewers are which and the servers didn't do a good job of explaining. They just drop the skewers off and then walk away. I had to ask them to tell me which one is which so we don't grab the wrong thing.
Skewers are very small yet they cost $4 each??? I never had a good experience with skewer restaurants (besides one), and this is the same. The house special skewers are a little bigger than the other 3 skewers pack but still expensive. The seasoning is okay, nothing special. The only thing I liked was the intestine skewers, but not worth for me to visit again.
I ordered a watermelon soju for the group to drink, which was not to my standard. I'm unsure if they put any soju in the watermelon because nobody felt anything. Other places I've been to was much stronger, so I was a little disappointed in that, especially since it was $35.
Overall, this place was a disappointment. If it was busy when we came, then I would be more understanding of the service given. However, we were the last group to leave. Also, they said that we ordered some fried buns for $9, but nobody in the group clicked any button so I'm not sure where they got that. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN BRING THE ITEM OUT!! I understand if someone made a mistake, but to charge us and not bring the food out until we ASKED, that's basically STEALING. They tried to scam us by charging us and not giving us the food at all until I had to ask. My friend who paid was too shy to say anything and was willing to pay for it but that's $10....
Read moreThe employees were all very nice, except one. The food was also pretty good and the decorations were aesthetic. After we finished eating, we saw that there was no one singing karaoke in the front, so I decided to go up and give it a try. The young lady managing the karaoke machine was very kind and adjusted the volume of the microphone so that I could be heard. After singing my first song, I wanted to sing another song with one of my friends, so I invited her up. Then after we finished, we made sure that there wasn't anyone waiting to sing and had my other friends do a duet. However, that is when an employee with an angry look on her face came walking up to us saying that we weren't allowed to sing continuously. After this, we waited again to see if there was anyone waiting to sing, and no one walked up to the front, so I decided to sing one last song before leaving. When I started singing, the angry employee came up to me again and said that this time I was too loud and that it was dinner time so singing wasn't allowed. She then said that singing was only allowed after 11 pm. After this unpleasant experience, me and my friends have decided that we don't ever want to go to this...

I tried the beef kabob it was raw inside, which I understood sometimes you don’t fully cook it or else the meat gets hard for chewing. However the lamb kabob was also raw inside. I’ve been to many Chinese kabob restaurants and I’m sure the lamb kabob shouldn’t be cooked half raw. They prepared our food really fast within 15 minutes so most dishes are pre made. Neither the crabs nor the oysters were fresh. My friends asked the manager why the bean curd was sour and were told that it’s summer time so as they spray water onto beancurds which gets sour. The manager told us it’s normal for bean curd to be sour. We were intrigued by her attitude. She should not answer us as if we were fools who never had beancurds in their life. Besides the manager, the young waiter there was also rude. My friend and I asked him where the restroom was, he only muffled “there” and pointing to the wall!!??? He didn’t even look at us when he replied. I’m going to stop here though there are more reasons to say no to this restaurant. But really consider these...
