This store honestly should just shut down. I’ve had numerous issues with this location over the years and have never complained, but I’ve decided to write my first ever review because of how ridiculous my experience last night was. I got home late from work last night and decided to just order, some pizza for myself, my fiancé, and my stepdaughter. I put in my order around 9 PM; the store closes at 11. I knew it would take around an hour for them to deliver it so I hopped in the shower and did a couple things while I waited. The order tracker that they have on their website showed that the pizza was being made and would be delivered by 10:43 at the latest. 10:56 came around and still no pizza, the tracker remained the same throughout this. After realizing that they were closing in 4 minutes I checked my bank and they had not taken the money out for my order although the site is showing differently. I called the store and got an automated system that prompted me to an order status checker that stated “we cannot locate an order connected to this phone number”. I got no email, text, phone call, etc. to inform me that I would not be getting my order after waiting 2 hours with a hungry child. I also redeemed some of my hut reward points for a free item that they deducted and have not put back (any time I try to use them they never work anyways). As of right now, 3 PM the next day, I just went back to my confirmation email and clicked on the order tracker that says my pizza is STILL BEING MADE. This isn’t the first time either. Between leaving out items, making the entire order incorrect, or just never getting my order I think I’ve finally had it. I understand things happen and would not have written this or been upset had they had the common courtesy to communicate that I was not going to get my order instead of having...
Read moreJust finished my share of a rather large order from this location. Decided to write a review. The delivery driver had to have been the nicest person I have met. He was driving an earlier model light blue F-150 regular cab. I greeted him at the driveway as I had heard him coming down it. For starters, he got the house right. (my driveway is one of the most unique driveways in the entire neighborhood). It's 4 times longer than the rest of them except for my two neighbors. They are all right next to each other in the cul de sac and due to the tree line in all of our front yards, the house isn't quite visible.
This driver was already smiling before a word was exchanged, he was incredibly happy, pleasant, and thanked me on several occasions. One of them was just thanking me for choosing Pizza Hut very shortly after he said hello. First time I have had a specific thank you and there were many more after that. Most interactions are just a very generic/general thank you at the end of the interaction. He also helped me carry a portion of the order into my home since it was a large order. I didn't catch his name, however the vehicle I am sure can narrow it right down to who that was.
Hopefully management at the location and even above the location do read these. At the very least this gentlemen deserves a handshake and a sincere thank you. In a saturated market, it's customer service like that is what you need to truly set yourself apart. I can get pizza from a multitude of locations and companies. Granted, Pizza Hut has probably one of the most unique menus with all of the crust flavor options, toppings, and sides as well.
So, please take care of that driver if you get the opportunity to meet him. If you see a light blue early model regular cab F-150 pulling in, you are about to meet one of the most pleasant...
Read moreDisappointing flavor. It’s probably been years since I ordered from Pizza Hut so I decided to give them a try. What a waste of money and time.
Ordered: Medium Thin Crust Pepperoni Pizza, Cheese sticks with bacon, Honey BBQ wings, and chocolate donuts. ($61+$10 tip)
Pizza: The only redeemable item I received. Flavor was good and cooked nicely. I received it about 30 min after ordering and it was warm not hot but wasn’t too bothered by it.
Cheese Sticks W/ Bacon: This is where the problems started. You can’t taste the cheese and I counted maybe 4 tiny pieces of bacon on the sticks. It was mostly dough and weren’t even cut up to grab in pieces.
Honey BBQ Wings: The meat didn’t taste bad and they seemed to be cooked nicely, but there was something wrong with the sauce. Maybe my fault for not sticking to a traditional sauce but I’ve never had extremely sour Honey BBQ. Completely inedible and disgusting.
Chocolate donuts: The moment you look at them you’ll know they will be profoundly dry. I imagine that’s what eating a chalk covered board must taste like. I wonder how you manage to make chocolate donuts and not get any type of chocolate flavor in them, now that in my eyes is impressive and worth the star I gave them.
Fair to say I won’t be ever ordering Pizza Hut, even if that’s the only option available. I’m assuming the lack of fresh ingredients is the demise to its flavor. Big corporations have sadly forgotten the importance of quality, but in their defense it is us the consumers at fault for continuing to buy their products. To order something meant to be comfort food and not something I buy regularly and yet be utterly disappointed by it simply leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. It could also be those...
