If I could give ZERO stars… trust me I WOULD! I went through the drive-thru last night to order some food with my husband. (About a week ago I had went to DQ after my precepting shift at the local hospital nearby and I had ordered food. A manager was at the window and he ended up not giving me my large Diet Coke. I called immediately after I left and told him that I didn’t get my drink, and he said that he knows and that I could come back by and get it anytime and that he’d write my name down.) Fast forward to last night, I told the girl on the speaker that I wanted to get my large Diet Coke that I had PAID for previously and did not receive. She told me since it’s been over a few days, she can’t replace it. Excuse me? We order, specifically my husband orders a sauced and tossed chicken finger basket, and we drive up to the window. I proceed to ask about my drink, because I do not think that is right to NOT give someone their drink that they PAID for. The apparent “general manager” or whoever he was came to the window and told me it’s been over a week and that he isn’t replacing it, and that the other manager that forgot to give me my drink last time was WORKING in the store. Like if he’s there, and he knows he didn’t give me my drink, then why WOULD YOU NOT replace it? The girl at the window and the man were so unprofessional and rude to my husband and me. They were making faces and laughing with each other regarding my frustration about not receiving what I paid for. After we got the food, my husband pulled away from the drive-thru and I checked the food. PLAIN chicken fingers, not sauced and tossed. We go BACK to the window, and it took a few minutes when the rude girl finally noticed us. My husband NICELY told her that he ordered sauced and tossed (that’s the only thing he ever gets at DQ) and she said there is BBQ sauce in the box. He said no that he ordered sauced and tossed with the BBQ sauce already on the chicken fingers. The girl proceeded to tell us that they aren’t doing that anymore. Then I said, “so y’all aren’t selling sauced and tossed anymore?” I’m a little confused, especially since it’s on the menu. The girl rudely replied and said we’re just not doing that right now. I stopped by for a large dipped cone. Drive through was long, so I opted to go inside.
4 employees working, no one was wearing a hair net or gloves for food handling. No one was working the counter as the chaos at the drive through window and the back was overwhelming them and at what I assume is an assistant manager or manager that was having to do everything, including running the drive through and counter register for refunds and returned food items.
First, the restaurant is extremely filthy. For corporate to allow this is disgusting. I see where they answer complaints on this forum buy apparently are not providing any rescue attempt for this location. The floor is supposed to be beige tike, it is in fact black.
There were flies everywhere, the employees were constantly trying to keep them out of their faces by randomly swatting them.
A person is returning a blizzard they just received at the drive through because of a hair in it. I saw it being made and was not suprised it had hair in it.
Food handling was sloopy at best.
I paid for my dipped cone, only to wait and be told the chocolate machine was not working. So I waited longer for a refund, and saw more of what I did not want to see.
I do not blame the employees. It is the owner, corporate or group that allows this to happen. The entire staff were just as frustrated...plus the lack of proper hygiene, and cleaning is apparent...plus the restaurant was not cool inside. Horrible...
Read moreIt would be more correct to leave no stars. I just arrived home from this location. I visited the drive through with my two young children and my husband tonight for a late night ice cream. We arrived at the drive through around 9:30 with only 2 cars ahead of us. We sat for at least 20 minutes before reaching the pay window. We were surprised to find all the female employees laughing, fixing their hair, playing around, yelling and cackling. The window employee finally took our payment but gave no receipt. Then handed one of our 3 blizzard's. While we waited for the others my husband saw her put her fingers in the cup then she broke the cup and they all started cackling again. We waited another 5 minutes before tapping on the window for a refund. The I guess the supervisor asked why and we said given the cleanliness and behavior we did not feel comfortable getting our food from them. There was no paper in the receipt machine so it took a while and while we were waiting that same employee lifted her shirt rubbed her belly and stuck her hand down the front of her pants. This is not the type of behavior you would expect from this establishment. I will never be back to that location and I seriously recomend a review of the security cameras by the manager from tonight 7/2/21 around 9:30-10 pm. These employees will ruin...
