I absolutely LOVE Jersey Mike’s, but this location is by far the worst I have ever been to. The first time I went to this location was on a Tuesday evening around 4:30 pm and I was the only person in the store other than the employees. I was acknowledged and asked what I would like and I ordered my sandwich as usual. The employee goes to make my sub and calls other employees from the back to tell them he only has bread for mini subs….I wanted 2 regular size subs. Employees then tell me they can’t make either of my sandwiches because they don’t have the regular size bread in any flavor at all. I asked why they couldn’t just take 2 minis and put them together as a regular……they called the shift manager via phone and this took an act of congress to explain using 2 of the minis for 1 regular. Finally, they were able to figure it out. They never offered for me to wait while more bread cooked nor did they offer anything else for the trouble etc. Now moving ahead a couple weeks to my second visit….again middle afternoon visit on a week day. I walk in and order my subs and was then informed they are again out of bread but this time only white bread and giant size, but they have minis and regular in wheat. Not that big of a deal, I can eat what bread, that’s fine. Well, he grabs the bread and drops it on the floor , quickly picks it up, looks to see if he could see anyone looking, and then just places back inside the bread cabinet with the other bread. I just politely said, You know what, I think I’ve changed my mind and I’ll just go to Publix.” Finally, he says if any of you would like a sub you’re welcome for the late 10 minutes at least maybe longer to wait or pay with cash, but if you wait, it could take at least 10 minutes maybe longer. I had no cash nor did a couple others. I politely asked can you contact the manager again because you have made my subs, which are also HOT subs, and I would like to have a fresh hot sub to eat, not a semi warm sub that’s been sitting on the counter for 10 plus minutes. Well, the employees then say we aren’t sure when the register will be working so you’ll have to pay with cash. Again , I do not have cash and I would like to eat my sub fresh and hot. Well the employee calls the manager again and was advised to just make the anoucement again. I was told cash only, but I only had my card. I said I could go get cash at the atm, but I would then like fresh subs. The employees advised they could make fresh subs, but I would have to pay for both because they could not just waste them. Hahahahaha, I do not think so. I just left the store, but after 3 bad experiences, I will not be back. Sorry for the long review, but a lot happened and I felt I should share. Read moreSo upset! I just had an awful experience with Ashley who said she was the manager. She would not give me any other information of who I could talk to. She was completely rude and unprofessional. I attached a picture of my soggy mess of a sandwich which did not seem to have any cheese let alone extra cheese i paid for which I drove all the way back down dawsonville hwy to have remade because I was hungry after dealing with a sick child all morning and was looking forward to my sandwich as I get it quite often. When i asked if i could have a drink so i could sit and eat my sandwich instead of driving all the way home for my troubles she said well did you pay for one before in a very snarky voice. I said no I did not but figured maybe you would give me one in so i could have my sandwich here and she said no you have to pay again in a rude voice! I said wow ok thats not really good customer service. She said well you can choose not to come back. I told her my husband is a business owner and in advertising and you shouldn't tell people to not come back and lose a repeat customer because word gets around quickly. She also saif well you can leave a review which I am doing. Read moreI always come to this location for two reasons, the food and staff! This past Sunday was super busy which I never mind because the staff always makes it worth it. However, while waiting I immediately realized I was going to be unable to enjoy my meal in store due to the extreme hot temperatures. I never complain but when it was my turn in line I just had to ask one of the staff members if they always keep the thermostat at a certain temperature, the young lady told me that it was something due to the grill that hadn’t been fixed (I don’t remember specifically what it was) but I thought it was pretty ridiculous that a store as busy as this one had there staff working in conditions that I couldn’t even handle myself while just waiting in line. I’ve worked in the food industry so I understand it’s not the easiest and not the best paying either. Regardless, no one should be working under these conditions. Completely lost my respect!
