I have been wanting to try this place for a long, long time. It was worth the wait. My friend and I dined here as soon as they opened at 5 pm on a Saturday. It is a gator evening game day, so it was not packed at all. The ambiance inside is nice and the chairs are SO COMFY. Nice lighting from a huge window spanning across the back of the restaurant. There isn’t a ton of seating inside, but there are tables to accommodate 2 up to 10+. Our server was friendly and offered us some suggestions (based on popularity) from the menu. We started off with a glass of water and a cocktail - a daiquiri. We tried the peach and raspberry, both were phenomenal. Definitely take a peek at the drink menu because it is very cute and ranked by strength of the drink. Next time we want to try the zombie, but we’d need an Uber home for that from what we heard and read about it. We got four star dumplings as an appetizer, as recommended by others who were in the restaurant. They were large, very juicy, and meaty - delicious (6 for $8). The server brought us dumpling sauce and chili oil to top them with, both added nice notes to the dumplings. I got the combination lo mein as my entree, my dining partner got the chicken fried rice and beef lo mein. All of the entrees were generous portions and contained a lot of protein. The veggies were perfectly cooked, as were the noodles. These were not greasy dishes like at some cheap take out Chinese restaurants. The flavors were phenomenal and we were both impressed. Prices on entrees range from $10-$40+. Overall, the food was a little bit on the pricey side but it made for a nice dinner spot to chat with a friend. Inside can be noisy depending on how many tables are occupied, as there’s only one main dining area and conversations carry across the room. We will be back!

I wish I had a five-star review for the most part but I don't unfortunately I spent $77 tonight and I really appreciate my corner store Chinese restaurant at the moment I don't know if it's because I ordered for takeout and I went and picked up my order maybe it's cuz I didn't go for dining but when I got home and I opened my food in my opinion it did not seem fresh you could tell they use real chicken now as far as the quality of the meat but it wasn't crispy freshly cooked chicken honestly it was not appealing and there was no taste it seemed like it was food that was already made from possibly the day before and reheated and they took some pieces of garlic or shallots and chopped it up and threw it over my General's House Chicken which I will show in the pictures the shrimp lo mein talk about the size of the shrimp and how overcooked they were being that they were tiny and the crab and cream Rangoon it wasn't pleasant at all neither and the fried meat dumplings yea its a no...I actually did not like anything but I try to eat most of it my kids didn't eat any of it they just played around it and yeah that was my experience I did call back I felt like the service with bad as far as not really finding a solution for the problem he didn't offer possibly when I came in for another meal possibly half off for this experience that I had he just simply told me everything was fresh and hope you like everything.... the noodles and the rice is sticking together and nothing has no flavor and it's soggy and it seem like they heated it up in the microwave

I felt like any minute that a gang was going to rush in with Tommy guns and storm the place looking for Mr. Han. It looked like a fancy Chinese place in those movies where the owner is in the back room making deals. There was an elevator door they said “Night Club” and I was so tempted to enter. We arrived at 8:30pm and the place was closing at 9, so I’m not sure if the club was closed on Sundays, but it didn’t look poppin’. We actually only stopped in to sit at the bar and grab a drink or two, but there were no bar stools. The hostess, who was also our bartender, sat us at the seats where you usually sit to wait for a table. There was a table in front of the seats that she adjusted and patted on for us to sit there. She handed us the menu that read “Mr. Han” on the cover. The first pages had the drinks which looked like they were pages from a Hawaiian Luau menu, but they were custom named drinks that even mentioned the tycoon himself. We got a Zombie and Tahitian Sour for the first round, then we finished out strong with a Flaming Volcano! We were feeling good. Next time we are in the area, I want to try the food. The menu looked really good. It, too, had custom-named items and looked like family portion sizes, by the prices.

Disappointment is an understatement for my recent experience at Mr. Hans

I called Mr. Hans back in early March to make a reservation in the banquet room for my doctoral graduation celebration dinner and they were aware that I was going to have a large party ranging from 25-30 or more people. I asked if the bills could be settled individually since I would have a number of friends and family in town, and I was told this would not be an issue given that I had provided a notice well in advance.

I called the restaurant on multiple occasions to plan the dinner since I felt management had taken zero initiative to aid in the organization of this large event. On top of it, every time I called the restaurant, it also seemed as if my reservation was brand new information to the host/manager (they did not have my reservation taken down anywhere and asked me to provide the details to them again on at least three different phone calls), telling me they have a poor means of documentation and very disorganized.

Granted that it was my graduation, I wanted to do everything within my means to make sure the night went as smoothly as possible given the large party. I called the restaurant several times and confirmed with them that I would provide individual orders to them a week in advance, and would also provide table/seat numbers for guests to help with getting orders out, which I was quote, told "was an incredible idea and would help the kitchen and waiters tremendously." I provided an Excel file of the meal orders with the respective guest/seat number to Mr. Hans a week in advance. I even went to the restaurant in-person after work one day to confirm everything was received and final, and I kept getting ignored and told that they'll just have the manager call me- a phone call I never received and had to follow-up on to speak with her.

Then my nightmare came true- I came to the dinner early that evening to get the seating prepped and when I spoke with the main waitress, she asked me "what seating chart?," despite me having multiple phone calls with her regarding this dinner. Despite providing the pre-orders, food was very slow to come out and some food didn't even come out at all. Same with the drinks- ordered, but never received by most of the party, in which I was told a bartender was licking her mixing spoon while prepping the drinks for our party. Despite not receiving all of our food and drinks, most of my party was just fed up and ready to leave. On top of that, the waitress berated us multiple times and was rude to my entire party for not remembering our orders, which defeated the whole purpose of the providing the pre-orders and seat numbers.

The waitress then told me she would bring out one check, which I told her was not agreed on based on prior conversations with the restaurant. She then again, yelled at us, saying she is not able to do individual tabs and that this will take her "hours to get everyone's individual orders and print receipts." I reminded her of the order sheet I provided to the restaurant (which she pretended to have no clue about although she had just called me two days prior to confirm the items on said order sheet she didn't know about). She proceed to put her hand in my face, roll her eyes and walk out to speak her manager. Shortly after, I was told the manager wanted to have a word with me.

I spoke with the manager and she was very hostile and unhelpful, and even witnessed her yelling at her staff and went to the extent of calling one of them "stupid" in front of me, which was disappointing to see a language barrier with one of her staff members being coined as "stupid." She proceeded to yell at me regarding having individuals bill and told me that my event was "incredibly disorganized and should've been planned by her or in-person,"- all things I attempted to do, but without much success.

This does not even fully sum up the horror of this dinner or the inappropriate events that followed, but unfortunately I have reached my character limit. DO NOT EAT HERE OR SUPPORT...

Highlight: The stand in bartender mixed a drink with their spoon, licked the spoon, added more mix, and then use the same spoon to stir it before giving it to a customer.

I would not recommend this restaurant because of the food and the service.

We went to this restaurant for my friend's doctoral graduation dinner. We had 30 guests, we planned multiple weeks in advance. We called them and confirmed the tables numerous times and even created and provided a list of everyone's meals as asked for by the restaurant. We numbered each meal and brought seating cards for each person so they could put each meal to each seat (as they asked for and confirmed with us).

When we first sat down the waitress was incredibly rude, she kept telling us how disorganized this was and how we should have organized this better. The waitress scolded us and made multiple comments about our group. I was actually shocked someone in the service industry was so untrained in providing customer service. In addition, it took over 45 min to get our drink orders, 1.5 hours to get our food. Even after waiting all that time we had food missing and drinks missing.

On top of that, the food we did receive did not taste good. Some of it was cold, some of it made people sick, and it was almost all incorrect. I would not eat here purely from the taste of the food regardless of the poor service we received.

They didn't use any of the numbers or names and the waitress yelled at us for not knowing what we had preordered (which we had done weeks ahead at the i request). Then it came time to pay the bill which we had noted would he separate checks based on the preordered items.

The waitress yelled at the entire party and said that was not possible, which is not what we confirmed with them. Then we came to an agreement we would split the bill and they had us all (30+) line up and for 40 min stand in line and pay. Then at the end they had said we still had left over drinks and food in the order of 200 plus dollars.

The manager was incredibly rude, lacks any sort of people skills and conflict resolution. She began yelling at our host that we owed money after she decided to have us split the bill. She said that people from our party had not paid which was not true. She used her phone to add up the remaining balance rather than the point of sale system. I felt like by the end of the dinner we had been taken advantage financially.

We ended up paying the 200 dollars on top of the 900 we already paid to settle the bill and not argue with the manager. Arguing with her simply was not worth the...

12/29/22: Party of two. Totally excellent experience. Szechuan shredded pork and chicken pad Thai. Pork mildly seasoned, just right. Eggrolls not oily at all Plenty of servers on hand and just attentive enough. Best place in town for a special evening out. Actual cloth tablecloths. No sigh of celery or carrots. Hugh portions as usual. Good value. Not at all crowded but doing a thriving take out business. 12/2/22:. Up one star from previous rating. Party of six for dinner. Food did seem somewhat better than the lunch visit described below. Everyone rated their food 'good' or better. I had Gen. Tso chicken - sauce could have been a little more flavorful. Was looking forward to a whole steamed sea bass (an item I have not seen on ANY Chinese menu for several years). Unfortunately discovered before ordering that at $45 this is NOT a whole fish but a fillet. Two other fish fillet items on menu at $20. Didn't try any this time. Mixed seafood ordered by someone else smelled a bit fishy, but they said it tasted ok. Eggrolls tasty but a bit oily. One member of the party had the pork belly, said it was cooked just right, melt-in-mouth. Busier than lunch, could have used another server, bar tender filled in. All in all a good experience. Still some room for improvement in the food. Huge portions - took 6 or more boxes home. Price reasonable for party of six with appetizers and a couple of bar drinks.

11/30/22: In a town that has many Chinese and Asian fusion restaurants, this is the granddaddy of them all. Still operated by the founder's family. Food is good but could be a lot better. Huge portions. No lunch menu with smaller portions. Most entrees under $20. Best duck sauce I've had, has a slight hint of ginger. Pupu tray: eggrolls made on site, not frozen. A little bit oily, like the oil wasn't hot enough but good. Ribs and 'teriyaki' strips lack flavor. Shrimp toast good. Crab rangoon average. Shrimp lightly battered Crispy spicy fried fish: the 'spicy' means pepper. Very peppery, not much taste otherwise. Sweet and sour fish: usual orange sweet and sour sauce. A few slices of fresh green pepper. Both fish items: light batter, no sign of any Chinese vegetables or spices. Nice atmosphere, will go back at night sometime. Ghost town at 1...
