I was not expecting too much. It was a Sunday afternoon, staffing can be a challenge. My family was returning from AZ and had 2 1/2 hours left ot get to ABQ, we stopped here for lunch. We did the drive-thru because there was a toddler in the car which we needed to change and let run around for a minute. Four adult meals and a kids meal, not gonna complain about the prices, they are bad everywhere. I will complain that when we did receive our bags, it did not resemble our order in the least. My daughter took it all in and they made our order again except they forgot the kids meal. Back we go in again and while in there I see four other frustrated customers holding bags and receipts. No doubt our original food was in one of their bags. The Corporation should really consider the embarrassment and disgrace that this manager brings to the good name of McDonalds and just shut down for a month to retool. Gallup is not known for a strong labor force but this was bad enough to change a ten year ritual of stopping there on this trip. Our food was marginally decent,...

Why?
To grab some napkins.
Because...
YOU CAN NOT EXIT THE MENS RESTROOM WITHOUT GRABBING THE DOOR HANDLE.
This is one of the backward locations that have a footpeg (see pictures below) on one of the main entrance doors, allowing you to open the door (towards you with your foot) to go inside the building. This same footpeg needs to be located inside the men's restroom. The men's restroom door has to be pulled open.
There are no paper towels or napkins in the men's restroom. ONLY air dryers.
Homeless guys, impatient males, males without a lick of sanitary awareness, that male employee in a hurry... yeah, these guys just got off the toilet or were holding their junk and the rush out of the restroom... HAVING TO USE THE DOOR HANDLE.
That door handle is probably the nastiest item in the building. You go ahead and use your imagination where those germs are being spread.
Oh, and the two cheeseburgers I bought - they were...
Read moreMcDonald's is typically known for it's consistency in service and quality, not this establishment. To start with, the drive thru staff wasn't the most friendly or enthusiastic which I don't typically mind. But todays interaction stuck with me and my family. When we pulled up to the mic, we had to initiate the order to an individual who sounded like they were laying in bed. Then as we pull up to the window, we waited 5 mins untill anyone acknowledged our presence. When they eventually did, the equally unenthusiastic team member directed us to pull around as our order was still being prepared. From the time stamp on the receipt, it took them 20 mins to walk out our order to our vehicle. the real kicker for us was that they brought a tray full of other customer orders out at the same time... Meaning that the service staff had our order prepared and ready, but waited untill they collected the other orders behind us so they didn't have to make multiple trips. we orders 2 sandwiches and a fry. By far, worst experience at...
