61st is pretty cool. Has a nice design for a smaller store and the employees are trying their best!
I love my Spicy McCrispy here, it's always so good. It's the perfect dinner for me. The smoothies are also fantastic. I always treat myself to one as a positive reward even though I'm trying to diet!
Staff is super nice 90% of the time. Let's not talk about the other 10% though 🙄
If you're looking to pay cash you will have to wait a while!!! GET A DEBIT CARD!!!! Please for the love USE THE free APP! You don't walk into a doctor's office without an appointment and expect them to drop everything they're doing to give you a band-aid!!!?
You look like an idiot if you don't know a thing about technology these days. I'm being honest with you. The children, millennials, and everyone else think you are mentally disabled if you can't press simple buttons. Technology isn't difficult. Your stubbornness is.
Just don't be a bad human being to the staff because they're stressed out because it's FREAKING McDonald's and they probably sad that they're not working their childhood dream job. Have some sympathy. 🙏 They don't come to your workplace and scream at you to kiss their feet. Or I hope not..
Overall it's a great place as long as you're IQ isn't lesser than you're wait time.
Insider secret. The McDonald's app is soooo fast, they prioritize it highly!!! I got my food hot just walking in for mobile orders and pickups. My friend wanted me to get take out and I made it back to his place in like 10 minutes walking. The prices are also cheaper on the all. And they give out free food on it occasionally
If you're waiting too long, it's because you don't have the app. If the employees are rude. You need therapy. Catch me outside If you're food bad. Then karma came to bite you. A refund can't save you from God.
You know I I love y'all! 😄
4/5 stars Star lost because their are so many unspoken street rules people don't know. Just come in and expect the best and it will be fantastic trust me.
I work at this McDonald's as the maintenance who cleans the lobby and bathrooms, not to mention running orders to curbside and reserved drive thru. I am a crew member and jack of all trades when it comes to helping out. I also specialize as our Guest experience leader with table service and being an ambassador for our store. I love working at this McDonald's because I give so much to the workplace and my job. Therefore I am actually getting good recognition in return. Lower management is hit or miss 2 night managers are kind and highly intelligent, and then 2 either ignore me purposefully or can exhibit bully behaviors often. But Higher management realizes this and it makes me feel super supported and that is pretty surprising because in past jobs my bosses didn't give a care about me. This is why I love working at McDonald's and why I want to be a good employee. Shout out to Denise, Arjon, Jorrie, Keonte, and all the kind...
Read moreWe travel to Galveston often and this McDonald's is hit or miss. Our previous stay was good but this stay was pretty bad. Our hotel wasn't offering breakfast during this covid thing so we did McDonald's breakfast for 2 mornings. The first time it was 10:50 and the lunch menu was up. I asked if they were still serving breakfast and he told me I'd better hurry up it's almost over. I was not aware they had limited menu so I ordered a bacon egg cheese bagel which apparently was the last straw with this guy. I ask what was available and he said look at the menu. Dude it's been switched to lunch I can't see it. Keep it short he was very rude about it.
This morning I go before checkout and it took 20 minutes to get through the drive thru which is ok I try to be understanding. I had to repeat it like 3 times it's like she wasn't listening. I finally get to pay and she repeats it to me. Pull up to get my food and he repeats it, hands me my drinks which were right then my food. Asked for grape jelly and was told they were out. I drive off and look in the bag and I see apple pies and fries and hot and spicy sandwich. It's getting close to check out from the hotel I've gotta come back and the line is to the street so I have to park nextdoor and run in. I tell them my order is wrong and they are trying to get me to get to the end of the line? At this point I severely frustrated its already been 30 min. I said no I want my correct order this isn't even close to right, it's not even breakfast. I tell her what I ordered and she tells me are u sure I can't find that order??? Am I sure? Beyond frustrating. The manager had to re ring in my order and I had to wait another 6 minutes for my food. Get back to the car and realize my coffee was black. No cream or sugar. I don't have time to go back again. I get back to the hotel and dump it and it's got a good tablespoon of coffee grounds at the bottom.
I realize things are tough right now and everyone is stressed, but there is no good excuse for that having a very limited menu. Please get it together for the next...
Read moreFirst, it's a McDonald's. You know what to expect when walking into one. So with atmosphere, this one ticks all the expected boxes (kudos to the average employee).
However today's experience was unnecessary and aggravating in the most petty way. I was getting food for my kids and grandson and they were looking forward to the fast food treat. Despite having put the order in well in advance. I had to wait a while for the order to come out.
So wanting to get back to the kids silly me didn't check the bags. I get home to find my little Gran-Mans chicken nuggets aren't in either of the bags. My fault, (not really) but I should have checked.
No big deal. My daughter had to make a run so she can just stop by and pick them up while she's out right? Wrong. I send her a screenshot of the app order summary/receipt thing and she goes.
When she gets there initially the manager wouldn't speak to her directly. When he finally did speak to her he was dismissive and told her that I had to be there in order to get the nuggets THEY forgot to put in the bags. When my daughter asked for clarification, he had an attitude and said "that's how it is" dude... It's a 6 piece nuggets. Seriously.
So I had to make the choice to either make a third trip to McDonald's or just make my grandson something else to eat. I knew if I went back to that McDonald's I would have gotten belligerent for the sheer stupidity of the situation and I would have burned more in gas than the food was worth.
The whole thing was petty and unnecessary. Plus how does he know my daughter didn't make the order? The receipt just had my last name on it which she shares had she not said it was me he would never have known. Show me the policy.
I think I'll be going to the McDonald's on Broadway from now on. Thanks for the less than stellar service Mr...
