ā ļøWARNINGā¼ļø DO NOT EAT HERE! Weāre in town for a Carnival Cruise. Staying a couple nights in a Airbnb. I was in the mood for Indian food. We door dashed from this place as it was the only available option in Galveston. For starters the pictures donāt do justice. The quality of the food is HORRIBLE!!! Everything came frozen like a block of ice and smells disgusting. Obviously not freshly made. No rice was delivered for the Paneer Tiki Masala which every Indian cuisine Iāve ever had comes with it. A slice of the Paneer Naan was eaten before the delivery. The Kheer doesnāt look appealing as a block of ice.
I obviously reported all of this to DoorDash. I also called the restaurant and spoke with an Indian lady. I assume she is the owner. I explained the upsetting situation I had going on. She wouldnāt even allow me to speak over her arrogance. I tried to explain to her about the situation and she continued to interrupt me. She said no rice comes with your meal. We have the best Indian food in Texas, blah blah blah. I informed her that if she could not allow me to speak I would hang up which happened.
The worse part of this, she calls back screaming at me, cursing and telling me sheās coming to our address to pickup the food. š® Completely disrespectful, arrogant and horrible behavior. If you want to experience the worse Indian place in not just Texas but everywhere in the states. Enjoy!!! A lady on the phone asked me to bring cash, I said I have only debit/credit card, she then said if you can bring cash else no problem. Not sure whether this is some kind of tax evasion. I reached the place around 30mins, a lady told me that I will take another 15āmins. This is around 2.30pm and not many ppl in that restaurant dine in so not sure why? But after 5 mins my food came. Iām sure lady doesnāt know what is happening in the kitchen. A man rush to me and asked to pay, I gave the card, he typed chicken biryani and added custom additional dollar. Before I ask him what the additional dollar for, he rushed back to that kitchen and I was waited for about 5 mins to ask, but no one showed up. Talking about the food, I should have convinced for the wait time, attitude of the lady and my additional charge with no reason being told, if the food is good but the worst chicken biryani I ever tasted. They changed me $5-$6 extra on every item on menu, for example I ordered a boti roll, on manu price was $11 for 1. He charged me $15 and only gave me half the roll. I told the server, and he said there is nothing he can do. (The least you could do it at least apologize for not telling me the prices before I ordered, or apologize for the fact that you only served half and not full) I told the server, that I would like to speak to the manager, but the server refused and said the manager is busy. (They had zero customer, I wonder why!) Anyways, very poor service, after we finished the cold food. When we went up to the cashier, the manager finally came out and tolds us our total bill was $185. From the original price on manu the bill should have been closer to $110. It's not about paying the extra, but that fact that he is charging a different price than the price state on manu, and giving less quantity, and also waiting for you to finish the food, so you would be stuck and have no other options to pay. (You should at least tell the customer that the price is different.) Also if that wasn't enough, while we were talking to the manager and explaining him, he saying "all of the Pakistani are like this", the manger was such a cruel and racist person.
