If you’re looking for bold flavors, fun presentation, and a laid-back hangout spot, this is the place. The vibe is casual and energetic, with brick walls, bar seating, and an atmosphere that feels like a mix between a cantina and a neighborhood hangout. You can grab a beer, catch a game on the TV, or just enjoy the lively crowd—it’s not fancy, but it’s definitely full of character. Now for the food and drinks—prepare to be impressed. The micheladas here are next level. They don’t just hand you a drink, they serve an entire experience in a cup. Loaded with shrimp, cucumbers, lime, and even giant sticks of spicy jerky, these micheladas are as much a meal as they are a drink. Pair it with a cold Corona or Dos Equis and you’re set. The seafood dishes are just as good—fresh, flavorful, and dressed up beautifully. From shrimp cocktails with just the right amount of spice to tostadas piled high with seafood, avocado, and salsa drizzle, every bite tastes like a celebration. Even the presentation pops with colorful toppings and sauces. Overall, it’s a fun, unique spot with food and drinks that go way beyond expectations. Perfect for when you want something casual but still crave a wow factor.

This was our first stop after arriving in Galveston and checking into the Tremont House for spring break vacation. This was on our list of places to try while visiting Galveston after seeing the online reviews and pics. It did not disappoint at all! We had the chicken flautas and they were amazing and way bigger than we anticipated! My daughter loved her vanilla ice cream with strawberry fanta drink, I had the daiquiri flight and my husband had a dressed miquelada that was amazing, too! It is a small restaurant inside, but there is also seating outside. Very friendly folks were running the place and very helpful at offering suggestions. This place is MUST GO!

We were hoping this was similar to El Bucanero in San Antonio but it felt flat. The ceviche is only shrimp across the entire menu and it was a little off putting to be served whole, large, raw shrimp. Only small bits of them were actually cooked in the lime juice and turned pink, most are still grey, and they don't serve it with any flatware so you are trying to chew down whole raw shrimp and you can't really chew through the whole thing it just ends up all rubbery and you have to choke it down. The Michelada were good and spicy though.

If I could give 0 I would ! The “MANAGER” Alex was the RUDEST ever! Went to have a couple of drinks for a cousins birthday. The birthday girl got a mangonada gifted to her. They brought a number to our table as they give to every order. When they brought 2 cups of corn we repeated are you sure it’s for us.knowing we had not ordered that. We proceeded to accept the order not knowing if the person that gifted the mangonada also gifted the corn. Well after about 20 mins Alex comes to our table which was a party of 9. Asked if we received an order of corn. We were like yes. Alex responds so you took “corn” knowing you didn’t order corn, we were like we let the lady know are you sure, because we knew the gift was going to be another spiked mangonada. But then proceeded to accept it since we were not sure if it was a “gift( mind you again we asked three times if this was for our table!) The so called “MANAGER” Makes us feel as we were trying to pull one over on them! At that point in time it was 11 there was 3 other tables with a party of 2 at each table . We saw that she was talking to one table which looked like she knew the couple. Then she came to our table and was with a higher tone of voice and said we close at 11, which at that time was about 11:25. ( Okay so why wouldn’t you tell us that when you first came to the table and asked about your corn!??? This wasn’t a comment I said to her it was in my head.) At that point I asked the waitress what is your name? She was like what? In a rude tone. I was like are you the manager. She proceeded to say yes. Still didn’t give me here name.. I let her know the way she approached us, was very unprofessional! At the point she did “change” her attitude and said it was a misunderstanding with the personnel in the back! If it was a misunderstanding it should have never came to us clients. That should have been cleared up with her “staff”!! While in the conversation the amazing “manager” walks off!! I was really excited for a local place with raza owners! What raza doesn’t like supporting their own! But when your own treat you the way ALEX treated us, is very hurtful! I guess I will continue to support my Pasadena locations! It’s a proud moment with you have you’re RAZA doing great things for themselves!! BUT ITS ALSO SAD WHEN MANAGEMENT THINKS THEY’RE BETTER THAN THE CLIENTS SUPPORTING THEIR LOCAL BUSINESS! I HOPE THE OWNER WILL MAKE SOME CHANGES BECORE THIS NEW BUSINESS GETS A BAD REPUTATION BY THIS “MANAGER”!! This is one bad review...
