We bought caramel apples with heath bars on 3 separate days. On the night before we left we went in your store with grandchildren. We bought five heath apples, chocolate melt, and a large chocolate chip cookie. When we got back to the condo a grandchild opened the cookie. He said that it was so hard he couldn’t bite it. I tasted it and it was disgusting. It had no similarity to a sweet taste. It was turning rancid. I had just spent $64, and part of it was for a cookie that we couldn’t eat. I called the store and explained the situation. The young lady told me that they cook them once a week. I couldn’t believe it! I think other customers believe as we did that they were baked daily. I asked for a refund and had my receipt in hand. She said we must come in. That wasn’t possible as I am handicapped and my husband couldn’t park anywhere near. They wouldn’t refund the amount back to the same card used just 30 min. earlier. We came by this morning around 9:15, and the store was closed.
It’s a shame that this company is selling food that is not of highest quality and freshness.

Read moreI would like to give a SINCERE THANK YOU to GG at your Gatlinburg location. My youngest daughter and I were up there this past Memorial weekend while my oldest daughter stayed behind to help out with my wife who is recovering from her latest chemo treatment.
We visited the store 3 times...so my youngest could pick out some fudge to take home to my wife. Each time we visited we discussed my wife's condition with GG and each time we were there GG showed compassion and patience towards us...as my daughter tasted different flavors of fudge.
At one point, my phone gave out while I was talking to my wife about the flavors that we thought she would enjoy and could taste and GG let us borrow her cell phone...to finish talking with my wife.
GG truly went above and beyond and displayed an exemplary level of customer service, compassion for us, as well as leadership towards her fellow co-workers. Also, as we took up her time, she would acknowledge other customers with a cheerful welcome. Way to go GG.

Your other location near the village needs some SERIOUS help. The customer service is lacking severely! The two ladies that were working, had just helped a gentleman out. He was stepping out as I was walking in. I didn’t get greeted at all when the one lady saw me. She looked at me and went straight to the back behind the door. The blonde headed lady was near the ice cream on her phone not paying a bit of attention. I walked around for about 5mins and left. No one helped me at all. I went to the location next to Fanny Farkles and they are always so happy to help me with what I needed.
The GM (to my understanding) was the lady playing on her phone. I work in customer service too. That was not a GM I would want to work for. She is setting a HORRENDOUS example for you're company.
