Played miniature golf here to be inside out of the heat. It was our first time playing here no need to go back. The guy taking the money with the long hair, is not a very chippy attentive welcoming employee. He could care less. when asked questions he was very short answered, he didn't care, was only concerned with what was on his phone when we entered and when we left. First I'll say. Find the treasure! There are about 8 or so things you try to secretly find to win a treasure at the end of the game. You go thru the course looking for things like a ring, gold, an earring. put which hole they are on. It doesn't explain just says closet hole. Is that closest numbered hole or closest actual hole?? Well of the 4 playing we had 2 cards and each card was different. When we left the first card was given to him, he said you won. I gave him my card he said you won. I said how?? the answers are different?? How? because he didn't even look at the cards! he just thru up a basket that was full of plastic Mardi gras beads and you take a 5 year olds plastic necklace. that's your winning?? searching inside for the treasure we figured surely a free game or something. SO don't even bother with finding the treasures. That's a joke! DId I mention he kept his eyes on his phone and head bend down over it the whole time while we talked to him? The course itself.. Simple no obstacles. Just straight shots with a short L shaped lane. Half the course is in black light. Half is lit regularly. It was air conditioned about all it has going for it. No need for us to return. No challenge here.. Hole lanes are very small and packed into a small building on top...
Read moreMy wife and I have a standing tradition: wherever we travel, we find a mini golf course and let the competition begin. Gatlinburg didn’t disappoint. Treasure Quest Miniature Golf turned out to be more than just a rainy-day filler—it was a quirky, jungle-themed battleground for bragging rights.
The course is tucked just off the Parkway, and while the storefront doesn’t scream “epic adventure,” stepping inside feels like entering a mashup of Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, and a glow-in-the-dark jungle rave. The 18-hole layout is mostly straightforward, but the blacklight sections—five holes in total—add a fun twist. We both agreed those were the highlight. The neon paint pops, and it’s where our competitive streaks really kicked in.
Decor-wise, it’s unapologetically kitschy: sarcophagi, skeletons, jungle vines, and even a giant gorilla lurking in the shadows. Some might call it cheesy—I call it character. It reminded us of the kind of themed attractions we grew up with, where imagination mattered more than polish. The vibe is pure Gatlinburg: playful, a little chaotic, and full of personality.
Operationally, it’s a breeze. No long waits, friendly staff, and indoor climate control that makes it perfect for hot or rainy days. The course isn’t overly challenging, which made it ideal for keeping the game lighthearted but still competitive. I won by a single stroke—though my wife insists the uneven flooring gave me an edge. Would we go back? Absolutely. Not because it’s the most advanced course we’ve played, but because it’s the kind of place that makes you laugh, compete, and leave with a story. And in our book,...
Read moreWe had a great time putt-putting with our boys here this year. We chose this location because it was indoors and we were wanting to play with little ones in the heat of the day and we are so glad we did. Playing in the AC was perfect because we were not rushed and we could let our little ones take their time. We also like to go when it's not crowded because a group of 4, with a 4 & 6 year old, doesn't move fast. We only had to let a couple groups pass us by going in the afternoon and we never had to wait on a hole. The course is an Indiana Jones theme and while some could think it's dated our boys loved the crocodiles, pirates, skeletons, etc. The first part of the course was black light and dark, which was fun too. The course was perfect for our family with little kids and not too difficult at all. For an average adult, every hole could be a par 2 or 3, so a group or couple could get through this course quickly. We let our boys try their best and take their time so we took a couple hours. If you are a big putt putt player and like a challenging course, this would not be the course for you. I would highly recommend families, especially with little ones to check it out. We didn't have to pay for our 4 year old. It was $27 for three players...2 adults and one child. I couldn't find a coupon to use here, which was the only downside. The cost was reasonable though and the kids had a great time for a couple of hours. The service was also wonderful and helpful. We will definitely be playing here again...
