Mooney's Ice Cream Parlor — Restaurant in Gaylord

Found this Ice Cream Place from Google Maps as we traveled north.. As we walked in at 8:30pm the older women working gave us a dirty look, but the younger one smiled at me, if it wasn’t for her we would have left right then.. My 8 year old asked the older lady if she could try the blue moon and she told her no that she didn’t have extra spoons for that, I was kind of taken back by that response, I own a business, and customer service is our #1 priority.. I just couldn’t imagine being mean, especially children at that.. Do people not understand that the customers walking through the door are what pay your paycheck!! The world is filled with so many shitty people.. But I give a 5 star review to the younger girl that has to put up with such a negative...

Ice cream is good,not bad,not excellent either. A good selections. But they charge by the weight, and it's expensive! $5.29 for what would essentially be a kiddie cone anywhere else for $3.50. too pricey, not worth it. Their waffle cones seemed store bought, cheap store bought cones. Very little flavor. We only went here because Trailside creamery was closed...

Wow! Went with my wife and Between us both there were about 4 different scoops between our two bowls (just couldn’t decide) I don’t remember all of them but I do know these two… Country Apple 🤤🤤🤤 and Mackinaw fudge insert chef kiss the girl at the counter was very helpful and friendly, we’ll be back for sure next time...
