Jeremiah's Italian Ice — Restaurant in Georgetown

here is what you need to know before coming to this little franchise that's a hole in the wall

many places have come and gone in this piece of real estate I'm hoping this one will find a way to stay as they did a really great job with this and hired a really great staff Two friendly gals who went above and beyond to make us feel like family myself and the party of eight that I bought with me and their families which was a couple kids as well

I ordered a custom and did what I like to call how the cookie crumbles and had them do Italian ice cake batter Italian ice cookie butter mixed into chocolate ice cream with cookie crumbles and I called it how to cookie crumbles but the way it ended up doing it they ended up gifting me what was called a bullfrog

which is their extreme large so is you can imagine I had all kinds of powers of my youth with even better judgment throughout the evening :p

so this is a franchise and everything they do involves frogs in their marketing and their sizing which is actually really quite brilliant and I love how they combine a family field to everything it's a touch of love

The favorite that I saw people buying actually there was a couple people behind me that did the exact same thing I did but in smaller sizes and were like yeah this is totally delicious and by the way they fill your cup over over the top so you might want to take in mind that a medium here is like a large and other places and vice versa a small is like a medium here than to other places really good portion sizes for the money

And what's cool is they mix Italian ice with ice cream in a way that actually blends together magnificently which is what makes them unique with their variety of products

What I saw though people ordering over and over again was the Oreo mudslide again I was not into Orioles that night and did all in on the rest of their cookie products

they also have for those with a certain pallet and I was tempted to get this one a unique Mexican spice mango sherbet which one of my friends got again depending on your pilot they got something for just about everyone here

and all the way to the very back they had mens and women's restrooms of a spotless and clean so if he also are needing to just come in and out they have that too

keep in mind this is shared parking with a Baptist Church and not much else and a barber shop that's recently moved in to what used to be nutrition shop but smoothies

again I really hope this place kicks off it is now a new favorite of me and my friends and we will definitely be keeping this location in mind to visit every so often and as with anybody else they have an app for rewards the store points but the great thing is on each of their receipts you have a couple days to go back and to scan to receipt to scan into the app unlike other rewards programs where if you miss it at the transaction you're not going to get the points

here you get the points and more and they were very very clean environment easily handicapped accessible and something for everyone family friendly highly recommend it and something for just about everyone's pallet and diet they have because it's sherbert and Italian ice options to have something for even those who are...

My friend & I arrived together. My friend ordered a Tropical first. I couldn’t decide between chocolately or fruity so I got a small Oreo mudslide & a mini sour green apple Italian ice. My friend received her tropical order, & I received my mini green apple. The restaurant had pretty much cleared out & the staff was just cleaning, & I hadn’t received the small Oreo mudslide. I brought my receipt up to the owner/manager & said, “Hi, I haven’t received my small Oreo mudslide” while handing her the receipt. With the receipt in her hand, the owner said, “No, you got the tropical” and gestured toward my friend. I then had to explain that the Tropical was paid for in a separate order & that I ordered a small Oreo Mudslide per my words and my receipt. My receipt had stayed in her hand the entire time, & after having to explain myself, she finally agreed to give me the small Oreo mudslide that I paid for. It felt accusatory, & I didn’t like that my first time here, I felt like I was being accused of trying to steal a $5 ice cream of all things. It was very tasty, but the environment & service was definitely subpar. I would rather support a business that doesn’t immediately accuse people (& yes, you already know) of stealing when there’s not only the receipt but also the person who took the order all present as evidence. It’s unfortunate that I have to warn people to accept their receipt when offered it. Even though, even with the receipt, you might still be accused...

Going to Jeremiah’s this evening was such a wonderful experience. Their jelatis (not gelato) are layers of Italian ice, soft serve ice cream, and mix ins. We tried the cake batter jelati and grasshopper jelati. They were absolutely delicious! The Italian ice is so creamy with a great flavor. I was very impressed by how much I truly enjoyed this unique dessert!

The service was great, the employees were friendly, and the portions were large. The atmosphere is laid back and I like the Georgetown-themed mural inside. I will be back again very soon because I need to try the limited time pumpkin...
