Although there's police there on the weekend. Someone broke into two cars causing damage to the windows (pulled them out the frame ) and caused bodily damage (scratches and dings). The food and drinks aren't worth paying your insurance deductible or out of pocket expense. This location isn't safe for patrons.
Reached out to the restaurants area director who offered an apology but no help in repairing my car.. Stating their insurance doesn't cover incidents of this nature. Didn't even offer a discount on my next meal, a free meal or drink. Absolutely nothing in an attempt to offer to make me even partially whole. This wasn't the objective but a gesture of empathy for an incident on your property would've showed more care.
I'm posting this so other patrons are aware. This happened 10/19/24. I parked 3-4 cars away from the police officer, virtually in front of the building across the parking lot, when I arrived and this incident happened between the time he (police officer) departed and the restaurant's closing.
This area is not safe from vandalism. Just imagine someone as brazen as this. If I'd walked out in the middle of his crime. My family would be making this post instead of me. Luckily, no with God's grace he missed the gun I'd tucked away prior to going into the restaurant.
Lastly, criminals are in our midst just waiting to make you a victim. Stay aware.. be safe Clayton County.
EDIT to add response to owner on 10/24/24: I've reached out to Applebee's corporate office who stated the information surrounding this incident would be passed on to the franchise owner. Therefore, I've been contacted with no resolve from the franchise. I've spoken to the "AREA" Director with no resolve. The franchise manager and any other person's I've spoken with have been of no help. The appearance of concern after my review is not resolution and I want the people reading this to know. You all already have my information and the people in my area should be warned!!!! You should instruct your people to reach back out to me with a solution. ...
Read moreDO NOT EVER GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! Myself and a group of friends decided to dine in at this restaurant and from the moment our drink orders were placed the service was HORRIBLE! In the beginning I could not figure out if it was our waitress's first day or if she was just that incompetent. She did not bring everyone the correct drink order (we also had a child with us and she neglected to bring his drink all together) we had to remind her twice that everyone did not receive their drinks. Once she took the order for our entree's she returned 3 times to confirm the orders that were placed, we did not receive our appetizers until 45 mins later and someone ordered a salad (which was not received until after the entree was brought out). Once our entree's were finally brought out, my husband's burger did not have lettuce, tomato or bacon and he ordered a BACON BURGER ( I thought it was the burger for the baby!). Someone ordered a margarita and explained to the manager that it was not made properly and he took 5 mins trying to explain to her that the bartender made the drink right and whatever Applebee's she previously visited did not make it correctly! Once it was time to give us our bill(s) it literally took our waitress 30-40 mins to bring our tickets only to see that all of the orders were mixed up, once we made her aware of that it took another 15 mins for her and the manager to re-print the tickets only to see that everything was still incorrect. After the hour of dealing with that issue alone we decided to leave and just settle out whatever was unpaid and figure it out ourselves ANOTHER manager approached us not to worry about two of the items that were not on the bill. So in conclusion, from our whole experience it was not just the waitress's incompetence it was the entire staff! and to add insult to injury no one seemed truly apologetic about the whole ordeal , only the manager that came out at the end but the time it took to resolve the issue...
