Bojangles has the best chicken, hands down of any fried chicken restaurant. They also have great biscuits and other sides. Their chicken definitely is worth 5-stars consistently.
This is a BRAND NEW corporate Bojangles that opened this week here in Dawsonville right on GA 400 next to the Outlet Malls on the same side of the street. It adds another location to their already existing store up on Main Street in the town of Dawsonville which is nice for easy access since so much shopping is now on the GA 400 corridor.
Since it is a newly constructed building it is exceptionally clean and during my visit, there was a manager telling staff to keep the dining room clean.
During my visit, my food was served very quickly and was hot and fresh. The quality of the food along with the taste is what I have come to expect from Bojangles. The service was friendly and efficient. There were multiple management team members making rounds in the dining room talking to guests as I ate as well as welcoming people as they walked in the door. But, it is a brand new store that has just opened so not something you will probably see after the first week.
My experience was good, I did not speak to anyone other than my order taker. While it was a good experience and definitely a 4-star experience it was not over the top to receive 5 stars.
I purchased a three-piece (3) dinner with two thighs and one leg, side of mac n' cheese with a biscuit. A perfect sized portion for a full meal. I also ordered a regular drink, they have great tea. This meal cost me $8.75 total, $6.19 for the chicken, $1.99 for the regular drink and $0.57 in tax. A little pricey for the value in my mind since Kroger almost next door has great fried chicken and the same meal is less than $5.00 with tax.
Also, it may be a new practice at Bojangles, but there was no lemon for the...
Read moreI am getting increasingly upset with the quality of food and the correct food portion sizes. I'm also upset with the fact that, for some unknown reason, receipts are not being given to (my daughter and I at least) the customers. I have received several burnt biscuits which have done nothing but upset me because they are no longer the Bos biscuits that were even three years ago. The biscuits, being burnt, not only taste burnt but are also no longer fluffy and wonderful to taste like home cooked biscuits that grandmother's make from scratch. The fries that were paid for today were supposed to be a large that we paid for but we were given a medium instead. I am extremely dissatisfied and put out by the food that we both bought and were given!! 😡😡 If my daughter didn't love the chicken from Bos I would forever not go back at this point in time. It seems as though every time that we go to the store that everything is horrid and dissatisfactory. I am hoping that things improve but they seem to continue to get worse. The biscuits above is a Sausage, Egg and...
Read moreUpdate 9-22-19 : Tried again, not any better. We were the only customers. They make the food to order, so at least it was fresh. But the whole place is dirty. Every booth was filthy, bathrooms were dirty and out of toilet paper. The parking lot had trash in it. For not having any customers, that place should be clean and stocked.
The cashier was new, with no one helping her. Took forever to order. Then they didn't have anything cooked. So long line of people waiting on food. Took 20 minutes, waiting on Supremes, with no one in front of us. Then no one knew where a knife was. Kitchen is just standing around. This used to be a good place, but it has gone down hill. No one can seem to find anything in back. Hopefully they get better management. Also they didn't have any biscuits ready. And one guy behind us was waiting on something for a long time, and when they came up, it was burnt. Will be going to...
