This is really the spot! They might be a couple dollars more, just a couple. BUT compared to the KFC, Bojangles they're totally worth it! They got just maybe two or three in this place running it on this Sunday around 5:00, and they're RUNNING it They had just dark meat at the time, which is perfect for me trying to feed a family of seven, got two family meals, on the coupons of course spent about $50.. Your pieces of chicken are 25 to 30% bigger than the KFC across the street, and we got all of the pieces of chicken that we ordered and biscuits and everything else, the boxes of Fries which were generously filled and the two sides of mashed potatoes were the biggest size, compared to KFC, compared to Bojangles, bout 15-20 bigger containers, nothing busted in the bag.. I wasn't told they didn't have enough chicken and to go away (Bojangles) I didn't hear excuses that it was because they only had two people there... I didn't get home with only half of my chicken and two sides short, that's YOU đKFC (new store).. Sizes of chicken vary depending on what they get from suppliers, of course, but waited 15 minutes for it, right up to the door, Packed right, ate right... Chicken was hot crispy and picture perfect really.đ˛.. I don't have to mention about Popeye's with the seasoning, is on point, didn't ask for condiments honey and hot sauce but I didn't even have to because they gave it right along with forks and napkins and extra boxes, 7 to pack up for the tribe... Sweet tea from the south gets no better!!! Don't hesitate for your money or your time and have to waste dealing with the nonsense elsewhere... I know I'm gushing a bit.but I don't care... I'm about to go eat some leftovers because I'm hungry but they didn't even know I was leaving this review I just took the time cuz I got it right now. I called KFC on Friday about my 36 pieces of chicken short (more than half), 2 sides short, gave up calling the store after so many times and no answering.. had to do the 800 number, offered me a $30 voucher instead of the 40 or $50 it was.. Waiting on a refund call from the "higher authority" there.. Look here- they're right across tha street competition don't bother with them, unless you just really don't care.. Mother's Day-Do Better for Mom . Bojangles just got no real flavor for me, being from the south ,';) it just goes over your head after the first bite and then you just eat it cuz you spent it... So again, POPEYES: the food's on point, biscuits were hot and fluffy... I'm about to go eat y'all... Happy...
Read moreI wish I could give a negative 5 review. The absolute worst experience at Popeyeâs in over 40 years! Visited their drive thru about 4pm on Sunday. Only 1 car in front of me but people kept driving off behind me because they were super slow. Ordered 10 piece spicy mixed family meal, an extra leg (wanted to make sure had 4 legs since order came with 3 legs), paid extra for 2 âHottieâSauces. The order taker told me she had to check if had spicy for over 5 mins ( told they had spicy). As soon as I paid, was told only had 1 spicy leg, would be 15 mins for more spicy chicken. I asked the young, blond shift leader/ order taker why did she saw she had it and waited until I paid to tell me. Given no apology, only told she can only had regular legs. I agreed to take the regular and the 1 spicy leg. When she handed me my order, I had a feeling it wouldnât be right so I checked for the 4 legs. Instead the box had only 1 leg. I sat at the window until another employee came and told her my order wasnât right. The male mgr came and I told him I needed a refund for the extra leg and the missing sauces I paid for and also I was missing 2 legs. He didnât apologize for the inconvenience or the error instead he was short and super rude. Horrible, horrible attitude and service at this location. Once I got home, I noticed the order was still wrong. There was 1 spicy and 1 plain leg, no wings, 3 breast, and 5 thighs. The only good employee was the cashier with braids, maybe if she had the managerâs job things would have...
Read moreWell my son and I went to the drive-thru and the attendant was not listening to what I was saying so he kept repeating my order which would have been fine but when we were asked if we could wait 8 minutes on a spicy fire chicken and I said no, let me get whatever's ready. I thought that this would be a lot quicker. I paid, but he still asked me to pull forward for a small weight. We had to wait 10 minutes on food that was supposed to take 5 minutes. So I exited my vehicle, and I went in to check on it, and it wasn't until then that they threw the fries in the bag and handed it to me across the counter. It wasn't until we got in the car and to our destination that we realized there were no napkins, no forks, no condiments, or sauces in the bag. Normally, I would chalk it up to a long line with too many customers ,not enough workers, something was just going wrong that day , and not even worry about it .however, there were three employees inside, no customers inside or through the drive-thru , so having trouble understanding what took so long. And I'm perfectly fine waiting as long as someone tells me I'm going to be waiting and I have the time to wait however sneaking in a weight when I already said I couldn't wait for what we really wanted was what was disappointing if we had known everything wasn't...
