The Human Bean — Restaurant in Georgia

Amber and the team at the Dawsonville, Georgia location were great!

My family is from Medford, Oregon, the home of Human Bean and where the founders Dan and Tom live. My husband, Chris Champion, is friends with them. Human Bean is by far our favorite coffee place out of any of the others! That includes Starbucks!

My mom and I were heading to Dahlonega, Georgia to spend the day in commemoration of my dad's one year of passing. His favorite coffee spot was Human Bean, his favorite drink was the mocha. We purposely chose Dahlonega as our destination because we knew we would be going by a Human Bean and would be able to stop and enjoy one for Dad.

I'm happy to report that even with being clear across the country, the quality and exceptional flavor of the product did not change. Just as delicious and amazing, like being home in Medford, Oregon.

So, I'm a coffee snob who likes ice blended espresso drinks. I recently moved and ended up at THB. In less than a month of daily visits the staff at THB had my customized drink down pat! If you love coffee like me you know how great it feels to get it just how you want it...

It's been months since I wrote my original review and I'm still getting the same amazing service and same amazing coffee.

If you're ever at the Dawsonville location ask for a "Chadd Special". It's their famous Mocha Granita with 2 add shots of espresso, no whipped cream and mixed really well. It's simple DELICIOUS

I have never seen such awful customer service. We ordered a redbull smoothie for $9. The woman tried to give us a redbull in a can. I told her I ordered a smoothie and she said "this is what is in it. it's the same thing." I told her I'm not buying a $9 redbull, and she said "what do you want me to do about it?"

Seriously?!?! "I told her to go make it."

Then I had to wait. Not to mention I ordered it online, and they said they don't even start making it until we get there. What is the point of ordering online then? It is more expensive online, so I basically just paid more money for the exact same terrible service I would have gotten just by going there and ordering at the counter.

This was Sunday, Feb 5 2023, at 6 p.m. I've never encountered such terrible service. It's not hard. Just make what is ordered when...
