As far as atmosphere it was a really good environment the workers all seem to get along with each other, and they had pretty a decent selection of music playing that didn't just stick to one genre but wasn't strictly today's hits or anything. Sadly they're still under covid restrictions at this time so you can't eat inside because they've removed all the tables and chairs, however you can eat outside. The food was very tasty definitely better than anything you would get from McDonald's or Burger King but the price is the reason that it only gets three stars I'd been here once before but I had not paid for my own meal so I did not know how expensive it was. A burger done all the way minus ketchup a medium Cajun fry and a drink ran me for $18 and some change now because I did not have anything on me to meet the covid restrictions for most of the other restaurants in the area this was about my only the option. That's not to say that they did not have their own covid restrictions and protections in place however they do allow customers to come in the store without a mask or a face covering. So I paid for the very expensive meal and ate it, Patty was very good not overcooked just the way I asked for it they were very generous with the condiments and other toppings the burger did kind of fall apart in the end because the bun wasn't exactly the greatest in the world and the cajun fries definitely needed more salt however for a medium they were very generous with those as well all in all it was a good meal but I don't see returning here in the near future if the prices...
Read moreI’ve been a regular customer at this restaurant and often come with my family to enjoy the burgers, which we really like. However, today I had an experience that left me feeling uncomfortable and questioning whether it was an act of subtle discrimination toward people who may not speak perfect English — such as visitors, tourists, or simply individuals whose native language is not English.
While I was giving my order to the cashier, he looked at me and immediately offered his phone to “help translate” — without any reason to assume I couldn’t communicate in English. I was speaking clearly, and there was no need for that assumption.
These kinds of situations might seem minor to some, but they reflect harmful stereotypes and unconscious bias. It’s important that staff are trained to treat every customer with respect, without making assumptions based on appearance, language, or accent.
If you don’t want to be treated with racist or biased assumptions, I would not recommend visiting this location in Dawsonville. I hope the management takes this seriously and works to create a more respectful and inclusive environment for everyone — including tourists...
Read moreHi Doordasher here, this is the slowest and most un-safe restraunt during this covid-19 pandemic, they take 20+ minutes to make a VERY simple order (burger and shake etc.) And their "curbside pickup" means you needing to come inside and stand beside 15 other people waiting for their orders, ive tried to give this restraunt a chance during my doordash runs but EVERY single time ive gone its been extremely slow and super unsafe if you are worried about covid-19 or getting your food in under 20 mins DO NOT come to this restraunt every single other restraunt in this area is much safer and very good about their speed, when im doing my runs for the day i typically wait around 4 mins at any other curbside pickup and i love those restraunts but every single time i see this restraunt come up on my orders i automatically decline it, if a manager is reading this you need to be responsible for your customers safety and the time it takes on...
