I ordered my protein filled breakfast on 7/7/2022 at approximately 10:45 am to 10:55 am via curbside. My order number 11077444856365057 stated that my food would be ready at 11: 13 am on the same date. I arrived at the restaurant and walked in to pick up my food because I noticed they were extremely busy but there wasn't a hostess present at the time. I went back to my truck and called the number on the to go sign to let them know I arrived but both "TO GO" parking spots were occupied. The young lady on the phone told me my order wasn't ready at the time we spoke which was 11: 30 ish or so. I practiced patience and gave the IHOP employee/s more time to arrive with my order. I finally walked in the restaurant and it was slow and noticed my food was sitting waiting to be carried to curbside. I greeted the hostess and told her my name and let her know I was waiting on curbside and she went to check on my order. She came back with one of the orders I noticed sitting in a "TO GO" section. I checked my food prior to leaving the establishment and noticed that my protein pancakes which I paid extra for was switched to regular buttermilk pancakes. I was not notified at pick either and was only told when I bought it to the hostess' attention. A notification of the switch and a refund would have been great but instead they were just going to let me believe it was what I ordered. I alerted the hostess and she spoke to the manager who was busy at the time but promised to make adjustments to reflect my order without the protein pancakes. She came back and took my order ticket so she can reference when the manager was available. I left IHOP with confidence that they would make monetary adjustments to my order and it would be reflected on my end via bank's pending transaction. I waited and noticed that the original receipt was posted to my bank account without any adjustments. I called IHOP explained the situation only to be told the GM wasn't present on 7/8/22 and she will call me back to rectify my issue on 7/9/22. I waited all day today and no call back. The blatant disrespect and disregard that IHOP had for my life is unacceptable. Making a substitution without notifying me...the customer is quite scary. The fact that some people have food allergies and their order made to specification is for a good reason. They risked my life by making such a decision. I hope management responds and teach their employees the importance of following a customer's direct food request order. A few take aways from my experience: I understand that most places are unstaffed and or overworked. Please turn OFF your online orders when your in house is being slammed with customers. It's that easy. Please train employees about food allergies. That small willful or accidental mistake can be detrimental to someone's life. I am not in the business of making these establishments any richer. I can't walk into an establishment and short change them therefore DO NOT SHORT CHANGE ME. Why should I overpay for something I didn't receive? If I am owed 1 penny I want it. If any establishment keeps the change of $1.00 from a 1000 people they made a profit of $1000 without doing anything extra. An order with buttermilk pancakes totaled $10.99. My order was charged $14.39 due to my protein pancakes up charge. I expect to see a difference of + or - $3.40 of reversed charges.

Read moreafter over 6 years of eating at this ihop off of scenic hwy I can say I had the worst experience ever! The whole reason I chose to go is because the well for one the service is usually good and the food is great. My middle son will be 6 in a few weeks and when I was pregnant with him this ihop was my absolute craving especially the mango Arnold Palmer. We made this our special place to eat just me and him. (and im expecting again💖) Well yesterday 11/17 about 5:40pm we entered the establishment got seated and ordered drinks. my son ordered a sweet tea and my an Arnold palmer with mango. our waitress then let me know the tea was made that morning (7am is what she said the sticker read) and is not fresh like it normally is. this was a red flag. I asked to speak to the manager because tea should be brewed and changed out every few hours. and by 5:40 at night I was sure he didn't mind making it fresh. I was wrong the manager came out and was extremely rude and told me the tea was made at 3:30pm and the waitress didn't know what she was talking about. and then he stormed off to another customer. The waitress apologized because she clearly saw how rude that was. she went and got me some to try and let me know again the sticker read 7:30am and she knew I was pregnant there with my little one and didn't want us to get sick. I tasted the tea and omg I couldn't believe how spoiled it was it even had little particles in it. I instantly walked to the entrance of the kitchen where the manager was and told him it's spoiled really bad. I asked her to let me see the sticker and she said the manager was mad and now ripped it off. he got upset with me and refused to make it fresh she told me to just drink something else. then walked away while we were talking. He did not care at all and lied to me. now what if that tea were to get someone sick? a pregnant woman and an almost 6 y/o. I am so shocked to have experienced this disregard for the customers well being. it was so bad of a feeling I wanted to cry so instead I told the waitress we were going to leave. She let me know where the next closest ihop was and did apologize again for the inconvenience and let me know the manager is just a little stressed out. We ended up driving about 20 minutes away to lawrenceville Suwanee location (even though the one on scenic hwy is right outside my housing subdivision) it was worth it. tea was fresh and they couldn't believe how bad of an experience I had at scenic hwy location. she did let me know since they reopened after covid they get alot of complaints and it's franchised. I guess I'll be making that drive instead of just going to the one I've been eating at for over 6 yrs. They have no regard for their customers and are willingly trying to serve spoiled tea not caring about the affect it can have of someone instead of doing the right thing and making it fresh per...
Read moreWe eat out quite frequently, more then we should! I normally attend the IHOP in Lawrenceville-Suwanee but we were starving at stopped here! Bad decision! When we came in it wasn’t many people! They seated us, and took a minute for someone to come! The amount of workers they had should not have taken that long and they all literally looked like they did not want to be there including the manager! We put our order in finally, and 5-10 mins later he came back to table and said he had something to tell me, he said they are out of Gluten free pancake mix that my daughter has to have! So I immediately ask for the manager because how do you run out of something as a business that should be organized and have track of inventory! So we waited and waited for manager, she doesn’t come out which is making me more irritated as we were already starving! Then he comes back and says they are making it now, by now I’m confused because you had it and was just too lazy to mix it? Seriously? She finally comes to table and explains that the workers didn’t know where it was at which is unacceptable! For one, gluten intolerance is serious, if you give someone wheat that can’t have that there is a reaction! So you don’t want to play with that! But anyway, she goes back and we now wait for our food! We here her asking them why they didn’t bring it out to us yet? It was not hot when we received it, my sons girlfriend didn’t get her eggs with her food til way after she was done eating her pancakes, just ridiculous Never coming to this...
