I recently had the most incredible dining experience with friends at this fantastic Asian restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and treated to a delightful evening packed with amazing flavors, particularly their curry dishes, and wallet-friendly drink options.
Let's start with the star of the show - their curry. The curry we ordered was an absolute masterpiece. Bursting with aromatic spices, rich flavors, and the perfect balance of heat, it was an experience for the taste buds like no other. Every spoonful was a journey of delightful flavors, leaving us craving more. Whether it was a vegetarian or meat-based curry, the ingredients were fresh, the portions generous, and the presentation impeccable.
To add to the wonderful experience, the affordability of the drinks was truly remarkable. It's not often that you come across a restaurant where you can enjoy high-quality and delicious beverages without breaking the bank. The affordable drink options made our evening even more enjoyable, allowing us to sip and savor refreshing concoctions while keeping the overall bill reasonable.
The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful as well, with cozy and inviting interiors that made us feel instantly comfortable. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and happily accommodated any modifications or requests we had regarding our orders.
Not only did we have a memorable culinary experience and enjoy the company of good friends, but we also appreciated the excellent value for our money. It's rare to find a restaurant that combines exceptional food, affordable drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere so impeccably.
In conclusion, if you're searching for a memorable dining experience with mouthwatering curry dishes and reasonably priced beverages, I enthusiastically recommend this Asian restaurant. Bring your friends along and get ready to indulge in a delightful culinary adventure that won't empty your wallet. I can't wait to return for another...
Read moreUpdating - Dropped overall rating and service and atmosphere. Kept at 4 stars, as one bad experience should not impact a small business, but utterly disappointed.
Took my mom to lunch today, should have been warned when it took 3-5 minutes to be seated or even being acknowledged. We placed our order around 12:20 and did not get our order until 1 pm. I had meetings and we were left in the dark about delays. When asked they said had a big order in front of us. If something is happening that is out of the norm - let your customers know (like will take 40 minutes to get their food). Utterly disappointed in this visit, the service was just lacking. Do not thing, we will be visiting to ever sit in, will start exploring other options in the area now.
My wife and her co-workers had ordered food from here. They all raved about how good it was. We had family coming over for our daughters birthday. We decided to give Lavender a try. They definitely have a large variety of Chinese and Thai food to choose from along with sushi. If you're looking for an Asian restaurant this is going to be the place to go to with a large variety. We ended up ordering a tray of chicken lo mein, chicken penang, and two quarts of hot and sour soup.
The food was all very good. Coming from Chicago I appreciate restaurants not skimping on the meat and the vegetables, or portions. I was very pleased with the amount of food in the trays. This place definitely delivered on both. Service and food quality.
We ordered to trays as to go. The food was on time and super hot, I did not have to wait, and the service was very good. The gentleman even wished my daughter I'm very...
Read moreLocals: you have got to try this place! A real hidden gem; a literal hole in the wall. We lived right here for years and never would've guessed there was such an amazing and beautiful restaurant tucked in between a Little Caesar's and a karate school in a strip mall along with an Indian takeout joint and Atl Wings & Things.
Carl says their Spicy Thai Fried Rice is the best fried rice he's ever had in his life and he is a fried rice lover and connoisseur. Their couple-style sizzling rice soup (for two/two servings) was out of this world, both in taste and presentation. My Spring Pancakes (crepes served like little burritos with plum sauce and crushed peanut on the side) were unbelievably tasty. The meat in everything was perfectly tender and delicious. The vegetables everywhere were super fresh and impeccably cooked.
We also loved the kitchen on display behind a giant window. Having worked in various kitchens and being engaged to someone who was a kitchen manager and expo, I was stunned at how calm and orderly, yet exciting it was (every once in a while, an open flame would surge a foot or higher like the onion volcano on a hibachi grill). I also liked how the expo/wait station was at the back, where we could still see it through the kitchen.
Carl and I couldn't stop gushing over everything nearly the whole time we were there. We are so ridiculously excited that we have this right here, easily accessible to us.
I do have one tip: I was confused at first by their menu. Then I looked online and realized it's three menus/sections in one... Chinese, then...
