I tried calling the Juicy Crab on Friday noone answered and I also left a detail message. I decided to go up to the Juicy Crab on 124 to make reservations and was told they are having phone issues (they were having phone issues the week before) so I said it would be around 25 people. I was told that it would be a $30 deposit and it had to be cash, I asked about getting money back I was told it was just to hold the room. ( I shoul have known something when they asked for cash). So tonight we went up to Juicy Crab it end up being over 30 people. So when I asked about my deposit the waitress said the manager told her it was non refundable. I told her that is not what was said on yesterday. The manager and the cashier came trying to give some lame excuse. I told manager that is not what was said on yesterday by the cashier. I was told it was just to hold the room. The the manager said it was to hold room for the entire time. I told him I did not see any other groups in the place. I told him that we should have just arrived and taken our chances on a table. Then I asked if they were company owned or franchise, manager said Franchise. I said then give me a number wher I can said the owner was out of town and I couldn't have her personal number, I told him I need a number to call her secretary according to him she doesn't have one and I need to call back to the juicy crab on tuesday. I told him if the phone hasn't worked in two weeks how is it suppose to be working on Tuesday. I told him to let me see a contract that state that deposits are non refundable, was not able to do that. I told him that we had spent about a thousand dollars.    Read moreI typically donât leave negative reviews but since this is my 3rd visit I see consistency. I arrived around 7:30 or so and was told it would be a about a 25 min wait. (No worries) I was seated and the hostess wrote 8:16 on my table I asked her why do they write that (mind you Iâve been to this location before and a substantial wait before anyone ever came so I wanted to know.) she said she didnât know and just so they would know how long youâve been there. Fast forwarding server was overall fine in the beginning. My daughter and I ordered wings, chicken tenders, and crab legs. The winds came out in about 15 mins and were fine. After noticing the 8:16 on the table I realized that I had been waiting an hour for our entrees. During the hour wait I noticed SEVERAL tables sending food back & servers carrying receipts with confusion on their face as to how to handle. My food comes out and is wrong!! After waiting an hour! I then of course wait more for my server, here is the reason for the rantâŠ. She then tells me âoh you just got extra snow crabâ I said no. I ordered my sauce a certain way and I wanted hot. She says well did you taste it bc this is your food. I say no it isnât. (You can smell the heat of the spice when I order) She then tries to convince me that the kitchen is backed up and gives out extras âmaybe sometimes you get a lobsterâ is what she says.
