I will NEVER come back to this place! I havenât been here in years and the day I decided to come it was yet again the worst experience ever! I asked the girl who happen to be young African American with long black braids if I could have the Cookie Dough Drizzle with almonds. After receiving my order I went to my car and started eating my ice cream. Once I took a couple of bites I kept saying to myself the cookie dough tasted funny. I went back inside to ask for something else to be made because the cookie dough tasted funny. She then asked me if I was going to purchase another one and I told her no! The girl then went to the back to talk to her manager who was Indian. She came back to the front and told me the manager stated that I had to purchase another ice cream and that they also do not do refunds. So I then asked her if I could speak with the manager. She responded by telling me that he was busy and he would tell me the same-thing. I then asked again if she could go get him please. The girl proceeded to storm to the back to get the manager and as I was waiting I noticed a roach crawling on the very big menu behind the counter, that shows everything you can order from there. I took some pictures. The manager finally came from the back and told me that I would have to purchase something else because the cookie dough they have hasnât changed. I told him it had because I know what cookie dough taste like and that isnât it! Then I told him I just want my money back because I literally just left out of the store and I told him I just saw a roach, and that I have pictures. We donât frequent Marble Slab to begin with, but we visited the location in McDonough off of exit 218 just last night and were so impressed that we tried this establishment on Jonesboro road. Upon entering we were split into groups and not served in order by a server named Monica. The system employed to serve people seemed disjointed and quite frankly ridiculous, but she rushed through orders and was incredibly rude. Once she completed the orders (and took other people in between ours) she yelled at us âHEREâ and slid it on the counter without explanation. When we asked is that ours she responded with an attitude âuh yeahâ. She also continued the attitude throughout the transaction and continued to throw our ice cream and lids over the dirty counter with dead flies on it. She half heartedly filled the cups half way although larger cups were paid for and continued behaving belligerently and rudely until we left. Due to her behavior and her lack of attentiveness to BASIC customer service we will never come back to this establishment. We will continue to send all who inquire to other locations or different companies as well. And since this is how business is conducted here, weâll happily continue driving further to the Hampton/McDonough location on 218. Monica and the entire team working around 5:30 on Saturday 8/4/18 need to be re-trained in customer service and best practices or just terminated and replaced with people who can adhere to upholding this companyâs ideals of...

To the Indian male (manger/employee) at this store learn a thing or two about customer service before you decide to operate a business in this country. I purchased an ice cream bowl with Oreo as the topping of choice only to discover the Oreos were stale and old. I went immediately back in to politely ask for the same ice cream but without Oreo and the male employee/mgr. gets a nasty attitude with me and tells me Iâm wrong because âeveryone else orderedâ. Iâm not even asking for a refund at this point. Then the (manager?) proceeds to tell me that he will switch it out but for a smaller size and will not mix it up with the other topping choice which was white chocolate chips. Excuse me?? At this point I asked for a refund because how are you in the right to downsize what I paid for? He refused a refund and gave me the size I ordered but with significantly smaller portions.
